Steve Kay Roofing

Steve was very reasonable priced and did great work on the front end. But we started having issue with roof. I’ve contacted him several times to get him out to inspect and possibly fix his work and he’s ghosted me. He won’t return texts or calls. Very unprofessional.

I have worked with a lot of subcontractors through the thirty odd years that I've owned my 1936 Arts and Crafts home, so I think I know a thing or two about superior work and so-so work.
Steve impressed me. He did a thorough inspection, gave me a reasonable price and showed up to do the work
when he said he would.
I would recommend him to anyone needing roof replacement or repair - but be prepared to wait in line - he's worth waiting for!!!

He is very nice, he is fairly prompt, and he seems to know what he is doing. His work is guaranteed so if you have the same problem later he will come back out to fix it.

He based his price on the count of thirty plates to be replaced. He actually surprised us because when we got up there he had used more than thirty plates and he didn’t charge us anything extra for it. He went ahead and did the rest of them for the quoted price. He’s very nice. He had to replace over forty plates whereas he expected to replace only thirty plates. That was a very nice thing for him to do. He was there on time and he finished ahead of time. I went once to check on him and he was cleaning up. He’s very professional. I will absolutely use his services again in the future.

We contact Steve and he came promptly to give us a free written estimate. He scheduled the work and came with quality materials that matched the rest of the roof. He and his son completed the job on time. Even though it proved more complex than the expected they stuck to the estimate. We had another leak which turned out to be a window issue but they came to make sure it was not their work. They guarantee what they do, they are professional and extremely careful with the property they are working on. It was a pleasure to work with them.
