 + 2 moreThis was a big job that required a lot of planning and co-ordination, and Mr. Mayers was masterful in this area. Despite very hot weather during the installation, he and his crew worked very hard over several days to get everything planted, so the plants would not be stressed by lack of water and the heat. We had some problems with the irrigation, which did not work properly at first, and Mr. Mayers stayed on top of this, insisting that the Irrigation Contractor find the problem and fix it. This took massive amounts of firmness, encouragement and resourcefulness. Throughout, Mr. Mayers was good humored and enthusiastic, reassuring us that he would see that everything was right, which he did. We are delighted with the work; it exceeded our expectations and looks beautiful!
Description of Work: Our large front yard was completely re-landscaped. All existing shrubbery and grass was removed, new topsoil and amendments added and power raked, new trees, shrubs and other plants were obtained and planted, two trees were trimmed and shaped, three large flower beds were mulched, sod was put in, and the sidewalk and driveway were power washed. Special care was taken to move and replant a rose garden. Throughout, Mr. Mayers worked with us, made suggestions and responded to our suggestions to be sure we would be happy with the outcome. Mr. Mayers also supervised an Irrigation Contractor who installed the new sprinkler system.
