Excellence and professionalism can sum up my experience with RVA Stumps. I spoke with Ryan when he came to analyze the situation at my house and I found myself not just listening to an Arborist saying what needed to be done, but rather I was speaking with an Arborist who was explaining and defining why this situation was happening, the procedure which would take place, and patiently answering any questions I had. I had a tree which grew into three large trunks from a single stump. It split, with the large stump falling onto my property and laying on top of a tree in my front yard while the other two trunks were left leaning very precariously towards my neighbor's property. It was a very nervous situation. It was less than 24 hours later until the tree was gone. I cannot attest personally if that is a response time to which they can address normally, but it happened for me, and I am very grateful. As for cleanliness, all that remained was smattering of wood dust in the road, and as a guy with a woodworking hobby, that is far less evidence than I would leave behind even in my own garage! Professional, informative, fast, clean. Well done! You would do well to call RVA Stumps should you need service. I know I'll be calling them when I require it.

They did a fantastic job! I received a quote to remove two 70+ year old trees (one oak, one pine) and to trim an oak, all of which were near my home. This quote was the best between three companies. It took a day to remove each tree and a half day to trim the remaining tree. I also had both stumps ground. They climb the trees to cut them down so no bucket truck; no damage to my yard and they raked all the debris up before leaving. We asked for some of the oak to use as firewood so they cut it into manageable pieces and stacked it for me. All in all, I was impressed at their timely, professional work and they were always courteous. I would absolutely hire them again!

I initially hadn't realized that this type of work needed to be booked pretty far in advance during the Spring & Summer due to the busy season. The most urgent need was the shrubbery trimming to ensure that the window installer had clearance to do his work. The owner of RVA Stumps - Ryan DiMarco - was very accommodating & even came on a weekend for the initial visit to do the shrubbery trimming prior to my window install. A memorable customer service opportunity & RVA Stumps scores an A+ for his response to that need! I also appreciated that he came out & met with me to determine how to best split out the remaining work to be cost effective & seasonally appropriate. On the next visit, they cut back a large River Birch & trimmed some more shrubs. Great work & on time, professional, etc. The 3rd visit, they were over 2 hours late arriving, but they did a great job & also cleaned up well, so I understood that these things happen & would still give them an "A" rating overall. I highly recommend this company because they help you determine what needs to be done without over-selling. My yard looks much better now & I'm hoping my Magnolia will have more sun, hence more blossoms next year because of it!!

He came out when promised, explained about problem with location of tree, and removed the tree. He raked over the mulch, so you would not know anything was there. I was very pleased with his work and professionalism. I would hire him again and recommend him.

When Ryan (Mgr) asked permission to come on my property to take down the tree I was worried about bucket trucks turfing up my yard. BUT no trucks! He climbed up & with ropes, the crew somehow got that tree down with 0 harm to my house!! When they finished, there was no evidence they had been there other than ground up stumps. Pros: Experience arborist ( licensed & insured) Offered up his ins papers b/f I could even ask Ryan & Crew nice & polite. Work was done both quickly & efficiently Amazing tree skills ( I just sat in a chair watching) Cleaned up area like they had never been there Cons: None
