I have been using Richmond Air the the past 4 years since moving to Richmond. They provide fast, reliable service and the pricing compared to other contractors is excellent. I have referred family members and co-workers and Richmond Air has done a great job. I was particularly impressed with their duct cleaning services. My kids and I suffer from asthma and allergies. Having the duct cleaning performed has helped alleviate our symptoms and helped us sleep more comfortably. Thanks!!!! Keep up the great work!!!

Richmond Air came out to repair my heating system through a insurance claim that I had filed with my home warranty company. I have worked with other providers in years past and have not had very good luck so initially I was skeptical about the service I would receive. I was pleasantly surprised with the promptness of their service (same day and arrived within the allotted time frame) and the professionalism of their technician. He was polite and respectful of my home (put shoe covers on before entering). He thoroughly examined my system and explained the problem in a way that I could understand. It turned out that I needed a new heat pump unit. They returned the following day and replaced my 18 year-old unit with a newer, more efficient unit. The install was very neat and they cleaned up after themselves. Even though the warranty company did not cover the entire replacement cost and I had to pay some and quot;out-of-pocketand quot; expenses ($700), I was happy not to have to pay the full cost of replacement and have heat that works better than ever!! I was so impressed I had them return to perform duct cleaning on my home this past week. I can already tell the difference in my air it just feels cleaner. I would definitely recommend this company.

Service was impeccable. I've had 3 companies out prior to Richmond Air and they were unable to diagnose the problem.One wanted to charge me for a leak search and to add freon $895. Another company said it wasn't worth it and I should just replace the unit and quoted $2800 to replace the unit Richmond Air came out promptly and fixed the problem the same day for just over $200.

The seasonal checkup on the HVAC for $120.00 is what it is, $60.00 per unit. They overcharged me for installing of 2 thermostats. They charged me $180.00 to replace each thermostat ($140.00 labor to install it and the cheapest thermostat he could find of $40.00). 2 thermostats replacement material plus labor came to be $360.00!!!! Way over price. He charged me $180.00 for each thermostat replacement at least give me a programmable one, I mean this was the cheapest thermostat ever and he charged me $140.00 in labor to install the d*** thing. I know people are looking to make quick bucks here and there, but this is ridiculous.
NEVER WILL USE THEM AGAIN AND WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW NOT TO USE THEM.
