The process was fine. Took longer than expected, but i was in no rush. It was a single color with no special finish (all spray with little to no prep). I could've bought brand new chairs from pottery barn (on sale) for the same price. There are a couple of spots that chipped on one chair (very small), but for that price, I expected a bit better. Ultimately, I'm satisfied and don't care to take them back for touch ups, but my guess is they would be happy to do so if I asked. In hindsight, i think I would've chosen to paint the chairs myself.

The 2nd order you placed with us was completed and picked up by you on the 40th day (3/16/16-4/26/16). The first order you placed with us was completed and picked up on the 31st day 10/10/15-11/11/15) so we truly hope we met your expectations on the original time frame! We complete all orders in a first come, first serve manner. Next, we would be than happy to provide you with any touch up paint you desire...we understand that accidents may happen with painted finishes regardless of the method. The work was estimated to take 45 days. Not a big deal since we were remodeling during this time. At the end of 45 days, getting someone to return our status calls was very difficult.

They were wonderful and all of the jobs were done very well. I took the pieces into the shop. The woman working there gave me ideas and spent a good deal of time with me helping me pick out just the right colors and finishes that would work for my home even though it was a small job. I have actually taken them items for 2 different jobs and both were handled and done in a professional manner. I like that it is a family business. I will be using them again in the near future.

I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with three, different people at Renew 4 You. Each chat taught me more about their work and what my job would entail. So I felt well informed from beginning to end. And, by the way, I've never had anything reupholstered before.
I was concerned after reading a review here and seeing that they would only guarantee a 30-day turnaround which would not have worked for me. Rather than be without the chair, I would not have taken the cushion in. However, by phone and in the shop, I was given a much more optimistic time frame - maybe as much as two weeks.
The work was complete in about 3 days and I feel like I have a new piece of furniture.
An excellent company to work with and that's where I'd go with any similar need.

They gave me an estimate and a duration of the work. The estimate was right on and the duration was just about right.

The leather cushions were just too big. It was falling over and just looked terrible. They were able to fix that. They were reasonable and helpful. They had it done when they said they would have it done. They were very honest.

Both employees I interacted with on 2 separate occasions were excellent. Both Monica and George were helpful, professional and refreshingly pleasant. George was able to match the leather to existing color (replacing 1 out of 6 cushions). Monica pulled samples for exactly what I was looking for. Service and repairs were prompt. Overall an above average service experience.

I'm mad that I allowed myself to pay so much for something I could have done. I was expecting a sprayed on paint but since the wood kept bleeding through they had to hand paint it. I didn't like seeing paint on the center knob of the vanity and drip marks. I've seen some really nice items in their store that were done with a spray on lacquer finish and I think they do a good job at that, but I wasn't impressed with the hand painted job. I wish I saved my money and did it myself.

The end product was good. Could have paid more attention to detail but good job overall. Very disappointed with the lack of professionalism by the owner. They are arrogant & rude. They were only interested in payment. Product was completed a month later than quoted. I would not use them because of their horrible attitude. There are many other upholstery businesses in the area that would do a good job & be happy to have your business.

I found Renew for You Home Furnishings on Angie's list. I took pictures and measurements of the desk to the business on a Saturday. I received an estimated cost ($595) and time of delivery (6 weeks).
I returned on Monday with the desk and paid a deposit.
In less than 6 weeks we picked up a stunning piece of furniture! It's so beautiful we keep it clear of paper.
I definitely plan to use Renew for You again.

It could not have gone better...I picked up the chairs and seats yesterday and they are just beautiful...the seats are gorgeous, the workmanship superb and the whole experience was wonderful. This is a family, locally owned business and I highly recommend them! They refinish as well as reupholster and repair furniture.
