They have very good mulch. The mulch is clean and it is not full of trash, weed or sticks. It is a nice clean mulch. When they say they'll drop it of they really drop it off. The price is good, it's not the best but it's worth the product. You get what you pay for.

They delivered the gravel on time and laid it down with their truck. They even trimmed some trees around the back because they couldn't maneuver their truck around it; they also did a good job on that. Even then they surprised me how well they maneuvered the truck into position and laid the gravel down. Overall a very solid company and very recommendable.

I purchased a dumptruck full of topsoil. I was told the topsoil was screened and clean. As I was spreading it, it was full of rocks and large twigs and plastic pieces. I called Pete Rose to tell them that fill soil had been put into my truck instead of topsoil. They agreed large rocks and the other debris should not be in there. They virutally 'blamed' me for not watching the guy load it into the truck and told me they would have replaced it if I had brought it back. I explained it was too late for that and asked for the refunded portion that would reflect the cost of fill dirt, rather than the topsoil I paid for. They refused. I had been planning to buy stone there but as a result of this transaction and in my opinion substandard customer service, I went elsewhere for my sidewalk stone.

They were excellent. Just turn up with a pickup truck, and they'll fill it up for you for a flat fee of $25 for topsoil. We have also bought gravel and mulch from them as well. They also deliver if you would prefer. I highly recommend.

Ordered on Friday and got Saturday delivery. Driver was on time and while it was difficult to get the pile in the back of the house since there is an alley, the driver went back and forth until he got the truck positioned just right. The quality of the topsoil and compost is great, no weeds, clay or other stuff in the pile. Would use again.
