Olsen Lawn Care

My experience with Olsen Lawn Care was entirely negative. After my initial contact, he agreed to come out and service my lawn while I was out of town on a Monday. He did not contact me until Friday (4 days after my appointment) to tell me that he had been out of town all week and had not gotten to service my lawn. At this point the grass was overgrown, but what choice did I have? I told him that was okay and asked that he come out the following Monday, which he agreed to. He then contacted me Monday morning to let me know he had a death in the family and needed to be out of town all week. I was upset and inconvenienced at this point, but I understand that emergencies come up and found another provider. Giving him the benefit of the doubt for the first set of mix-ups, I recontacted Richard to come service my lawn about a month later. He agreed to service my lawn on a Wednesday before I was having company over that evening. Richard contacted me at 4:45 pm on that Wednesday to tell me that "his truck would not fit down my street" and that I would need to find another service provider. I live on a typical Richmond city street; yes, there are vehicles parked on the street, but it has not prevented many folks from having lawn service, moving trucks, carpet cleaners, etc, on the street. Clearly Olsen Lawn Care was not interested in having my business, but rather than telling me this upfront, I was inconvenienced and have now had two separate instances where my lawn has grown out of control due to his lack of responsiveness and communication. Richard gave me the run-around and treated me with complete disrespect throughout every interaction I have had with him. Do not bother reaching out to this provider.
