An estimate was made by this contractor for water damage incurred by an A/C unit in the attic. I also requested additional workinvolving attic insulation, purchase and installation of new aluminum attic pull down stairs. A contract was sent requiring a 50% down payment. I emailed the contractor advising I was not accustomed to paying for home repair work before it was performed. I asked the contractor to contact me and discuss this requirement. I have not received any response from this contractor as of today, October 4, 2013. The last email I sent was on September 25, 2013 and I received no response. I telephoned an E Brosius, a representative of this contractor, and left a message on his voice mail to let me know if his company was going to do the repair work. I have received no response. I would suggest to anyone needing repair work on their home to steer clear of this company unless they are willing to pay 50% up front before any work has begun.
Description of Work: Sent contract requiring 50% down before any work started.
