Found Nicholas via second hand references. Asked for estimate to install vinyl. He suggested Hardie Plank as alternative. Saw an example of his work on nearby house and thought it looked great. Price for Hardie Plank was only slightly higher than vinyl. His proposal was simple and straightforward, and complete. Placed the order and as soon as the material was in, he began the work. Stayed on my job continually through many delays due to the excessive amount of rain we have been getting (November 2009). He protected the yard by placing his scaffolding walkways across the lawn so he would not wear out a path getting from the driveway staging area of materials to the far side of the house. He cleaned up every day so there was no debris in the driveway. Without extra charge, he obtained extra help to try to catch up on the schedule delays (rain). When he had finished, he cleaned up all debris and work material so you could not tell he had been there except for the the very high quality appearance of his work. He did not ask for any money until he was complete. He explained everything along the way that needed explanation, and the additional work requested was priced as reasonably as the original proposal, no gouging! Very easy to work with, professional, and conscientious.
