Contractor was chosen because of personal observation of work performed next door last fall. Discussions of the scope of our work proceeded over the winter and the contractor presented a proposal in early spring. All known work that needed to be done was accomplished in accordance with contractor's assurances and to full satisfaction. During the course of prep work for painting, additional areas of rotted trim and siding were discovered as well as structural compromise of front porch columns. Contractor offered options for resolving these issues as well as estimates of costs for each option. Contractor resolved all issues. Contractor completed all work in a timely fashion, kept us informed as to when to expect his crew to be on the job, and performed meticulous clean-up upon completion of the job.

It was great he did an amazing job the ceiling looks better than originally. I did ask for a quote on some other painting after he finished the ceiling but he never did get back to me with the quote, so I went with someone else.

Michael came out on time to give us an estimate. He was neatly dressed, polite and professional. He was knowledgeable regarding work that was needed to repair and prep for painting. I added the garage entrance door request after he arrived and he was willing to include that in the estimate.
The job was completed by the owner and 1-2 employees. This assured me he took pride in his work.
They were punctual, responsive, courteous and professional.
Excellent craftsmanship with great attention given to detail.
It took several days to complete the job during which they protected our belongings (everything was placed in the garage), cleaned up after themselves and communicated during and at the end of a days work regarding the progress of the work.

Called for an estimate in January of 2012. He arrived promptly at the scheduled appointment time. I was given a written estimate and a price was agreed upon. The work was scheduled at a time that was convenient to my family. I received a call the day before the work was to begin and was told which room he would begin the work in so that I could prepare. He arrived on schedule everyday during the job and work was done in a professional manner. The work areas were cleaned at the end of each day At the end of the job everything was put back in place and cleaned properly. The paint job is perfect!

In the area of drywall repair, he filled two large
rectangular holes in the kitchen ceiling where fluorescent fixtures had been
removed to make way for more modern lighting, plus several other holes created
by electricians to fish wire behind the wallboard, and one hole where a
previous ceiling fixture had hung. Mike
and his assistant also repaired minor cracking that had shown up in the ceiling
over the years, then painted the ceiling. While working, they enshrouded the
kitchen in plastic and covered every surface.
They did an absolutely masterful job, and no one could imagine that the
holes once existed. They cleaned up
meticulously before declaring the job complete.
We are extremely pleased with all facets of the job they did, and we
would recommend them highly.
