LOWES

Service was excellent, the ordered the material and it was in earlier than they told us.  One installer did the work and did a great job.  It took 3 days, but he moved all the furniture, replaced everything and it looked great.  We had one door that didn't get planed down far enough and it wore a spot in the floor.  We called them and they came back and redid it no problem.  Had to move the refrigerator and do about 1/4th of the kitchen over, and they did it with no problem.

Contractors measured the windows. I ordered them in the store. The salesclerk messed up the order--charged me too much. (should've left there) The windows took longer than expected to arrive. I had to call several times. The window installers installed 10 of the 11 windows in one day. For the 11th, they took out the existing window, but found that they had measured the replacement window wrong--it was the wrong size. They left chipped paint on the floors under each window. They did not recaulk the woodwork so the windows look sloopy. They were sloppy in replacing the woodwork around two windows--put it back crooked. I made them come back and fix it. Now my bathroom window is leaking badly. Lowe's guarantee is for one year only. Another contractor I called to fix the leak said all the windows were installed wrong--the installers worked from the wrong side, not from the outside. (they did what was easiest for them) Do not use Lowe's!

Sales person did not explain what was included so windows did not get wrapped. Now they want to charge me for install again. I was due a phone call yesterday and still have not heard anything. Sales response is terrible on the last two items purchased. I won't use them ever again.

Lowe's came in and did exactly what they said they would do. They did everything very good and very quick. The door seems to be just fine. The installers were very professional and very nice to deal with. The pricing was also very good. I am satisfied with them.

They kept in touch with me. The designer was very good, very professional. He kept me calm.

First, they couldn't figure out what the cost was, I ended up calculating it for them after asking for a calculator, which the manager said they didn't have in the building. Took forever to get the doors ordered and arrived. They installed front door fine. The back door went in, but the screen they selected was crap and the installer ended up bringing it back. They couldn't find another to work with the door, so they ended up replacing the door. However the screen door, isn't adjusted right and sticks. I then had to chase down the manager to get a reimbursement for redoing the alarm twice. The managers continuously lied to me and store manager was ultimately useless, unhelpful and part of the problem. All of the actual installers were fine, it was the Lowe's management that was totally screwed up.

Lowes said they would install the garage door for free, but when they came to install it, they wanted to charge us for it. My wife bickered with them and they finally agreed not to charge us. I felt that this was a bad experience.

We bought a storm door at Lowes and when they came to install it, they installed the wrong door. It took one afternoon to do the work. I had to bring the door back and exchange it and then I installed it myself.

They made the appointment to come out and were here on time. The quality of door was very good as it was a sturdy metal door. The security door was also very solid. I didn't have any problems with the work on the installations because they did a good job of putting the doors in. They hauled the old doors away for me. The price that they charged me was just for the installation.
