KNIGHT'S CHIMNEY SERVICE

Overall, the experience has been poor. It started out not too bad, but then it progressed to awful. The initial amount that was quoted for the job was reasonable, but then he added on more charges. He kept telling me that the building inspector was anxious to get to our home, but I found out that they weren't able to do that until he pulled a building permit (which he never pulled before the work was started). That same day that I brought this to his attention, he pulled a building permit. A day or two later the building inspector came out. Our insurance inspector came out to let us know that alot of the work was incorrect, which confused me. Insulation had run from the top of the chmney, which he left. He left his trash and debris here also. He's been going by alot of different names with alot of different websites (which some of them aren't even legit websites). He's lied repeatedely. He told me that he never had any chimney work done incorrectly in England. I don't know what's true and what's untrue with what he tells me. My insurance company is now investigating this, along with several other people's claims that had work done by this company.
