Description of Work: First I want to say Thank you to Mr. Dowdy for coming out; by himself, so quickly and fixing my well. He had to replace a 3 inch piece of galvanized pipe; that connected the well head to the house feed hose, that sprung a leak, with a brass pipe, but I feel $300 was a little much since I had to fill in the 4 foot by 4 foot by 4 foot deep hole myself!

Provider was contacted early 2/2/15 and was at the house by 12:45 p.m. - Great service! The 3 men went right to work and replaced the well pump within a few hours max. I was advised by another contractor yesterday this service may run me upwards of $700 so I was hoping and expecting that price but it was several hundred more than that, unfortunately. But the job is done and I'm relieved to have water back in the house.

Dowdy Well and Septic told us when they were going to arrive and they did just that. The crew got to work and they were done in no time. The whole experience was a throw back to another time when folks really came through on their promises. Wonderful folks and a pleasure to deal with. If you want a good deal that is what you will get. This company just makes you feel good. Good People. Commitment to doing a good job makes all the difference in the world. This company epitomizes good customer service.
Description of Work: Installed a 1/2hp submersible pump in an shallow well and installed and new gauge and adjusted the controls and added air to the tank.
