CANNON'S ESTATE CONSIGNMENTS

In Nov. 2007, I emailed them since it was not selling, I intended to keep the ring. Almost immediately I was emailed that the ring had sold! I was informed that a check was on its way. I was told that several other pieces had sold. I waited a month or so and received no check and no report as to what items had sold. I called David Shapiro, and he informed me that the check had been sent. I have asked repeatedly over the last few months as to the status of this check and gotten various reports. It was lost but apparently either deposited or cashed; the report is vague. I asked to see a copy of this check. The bank lost it, Shapiro informed me. He could not release the funds to me till the bank tracked down what exactly happened. This has been going on now for 4 months or so. The Shapiros have been feeding me $2000-$2500 periodically, presumably to cover other items sold. In spite of repeated requests, I still have not received a detailed account of what has sold & how much I am owed.
