 + -1 moreThe contractor has already gotten $770. and I don't even have the doors installed yet, which was part of the first quote. I believe they are working together to get every single last dime I have. The bathroom is still not done and it's been two months and I'm out of money.
Description of Work: John was supposed to install a new bathroom in my basement. He couldn't give me an estimate up front, saying he didn't know what other problems he could run in to. I ask for a guestimation...He said maybe about 1100.00, which I feel was a good price. I've already paid $650. and he wants another $700. to finish the job. He sent a friend over to help me with the walls and other contractor things and his friend is nickle and diming me to death.
