Astonishing Detail

Not great. When I went in this time my car was in perfect condition. Once the car wash was over, I noticed some scratches and a weird splash mark on the drivers side of my car. I brought this to the attention of the attendants working, and they tried to place blame on a multitude of other things. I've used this car wash many times before and I've always been satisfied, but unfortunately I will be looking into another car wash service for the future.

My car is **gorgeous!!** The process is very involved and takes several days, but from what I see now, it is worth it. I had asked for a good vacuuming--which they *did*--and I believe it was complimentary (but not sure.) (When I say "good vacuuming"--I have dogs that can quickly turn a black carpet white with hair!!)

Completely removed an egg sized stain. They did a fantastic job. You can't even tell it was there

The car looks as if it was just driven out of the show room.  Only had interior done, and will now go back for exterior.  I think these guys are great.

The quality was great. I was getting ready to sell my car and wanted to present it as best as possible. Car Pool was very thorough cleaning out the vents, floor, nooks, etc.

Looked great when finished.  Got me top dollar on the private sale of car.

Gina and her team did an amazing job of detailing my Miata! It had not been washed or waxed in some time and needed a lot of attention. When I picked up my car it looked brand new again! Immaculate in every way and every detail was addressed.
They far exceeded my expectations!

The vehicle I took in was disgusting. It is our "third" vehicle and was used by our nanny for the last 3 years. I bought it from a family member used four years ago and it was not super clean then. I mean it made my skin crawl to get in the car to take it to the shop. There was toddler goop crusted places. Found out the nanny was smoking in it when children were not present. Spills were not cleaned up. You get the picture. I could not believe my eyes when I went to pick up the car the next day. It looked new. Sparkling. Smelled clean. The sanitized the ventilation system. I don't even know how they did it. My other half is freaky about keeping our main two vehicles clean and does the detailing himself- and he was even floored at how good it looked. The price was very very steep and could have been steeper. I had budgeted about 500 bucks for the job, but I ended up adding on extra services at the last minute. The office manager was fantastic and scheduling was a breeze and very quick. I would tell anyone to go here.

We have taken our vehicles to Car Pool Detail quite a few times over the years. We have nothing but praise for the work they do. We can't imagine having anyone else detail our vehicles. We just took our 7 year old truck with 150,000 miles on it to several places to have it appraised for trade in -- after having it detailed. Everyone said they expected the odometer to say more like 30,000 miles based on how imaculate the truck looked and they were completely shocked to see it had 150,000 miles on it. Gina and her crew take personal pride in the work they do and it shows.We had used another detailing shop before trying Car Pool Detail and there is no comparison in the quality of the work. We just can't say enough good things about Car Pool Detail. It's nice to know there is somewhere you can go and always get the same excellent service and outcome.

A busy place, so be sure to call ahead and make an appointment.  The owner will be working; she is very knowledgeable and professional.  Service was timely and done right--can't complain!

Car Pool Detail did an amazing job on my car.  I haven't seen my car looks this good since I bought it 11 years ago.  The exterior of car had "Spider Web" scratches from bad car washes and detailing work.  They were able to get 95% of the scratches out with detailing clay-it looks great.  The leather of the interior had lots of discoloration and had deep seated dirt in certain areas.  They were able to match the color of leather perfectly and looks brand new.  I cannot say enough good things about Gina Budhai and her crew.  Their attention to detail was beyond my expectations and would highly recommend them.   

I have nothing but praise for this shop.  I can't imagine finding a better business to take care of detailing a vehicle.  They do such an awesome job.  My first visit was to get my 4-Runner detailed before trading it in.  When I got it back, it looked much better than the day I had purchased it from the dealer (it was used).  My wife actually wished we had kept it because it looked so nice.  The second visit was to detail my Tundra before trading it in.  Like the 4-Runner, you could cook your dinner on the engine, it was so clean.  And like the 4-Runner, all the minor dings had been fixed.  Each of those efforts were between $500-$600 - but well worth it.  The most recent visit was to remove the tar that was splattered over a good portion of the vehicle.  They used tar remover, then used a Clay Bar on it, then waxed and polished it.  They even cleaned the interior even though I hadn't requested it, nor was I asked to pay for it.  The car looks great!  Not a speck of tar anywhere.  And only $185, to boot.  Her team is so detail oriented (pardon the pun).  I highly recommend their shop.

They are not cheap, but a car is a big investment: you keep it a long time and take care of it because it's way cheaper than replacing it.  It makes me remember that I'm glad to still have the car. They've done great work repainting my scratched up bumper as well.

They did a great job and I had no complaints. I had to leave the car there and did not have any other transportation so they even helped us out by driving us back home; it was a nice little service, I was not expecting that. It was across town too; not like it was around the corner. I would highly recommend them; they are very good. I did my research on Angie's List and found that they were an A and I was very satisfied.

Gina knows her cars inside and out. She’s out there managing the process throughout the entire project and is a perfectionist. She always does a spectacular job and is dedicated to her customer service. She’s the best detailer in Richmond.

I generally like to use Angie's list to separate the good from the bad when it comes to having work done around Richmond, and it paid off once more.  Carpool's detail shop off of Broad St. went over and above.  They completely refreshed the interior of my car.  I was thinking about selling my car before this, but now, no-way!  It's like a new car again.  I'm extremely happy with their service.  My headliner looks brand new.  They also cleaned my seat-belts.... who cleans seat-belts?  I challenge you to find comparable service, let alone for this price, anywhere.
