I have used James Thomas for a variety of masonry projects since 2004. He also does masonry work for several top custom home builders in northern Virginia. He is a master mason who does the work himself. His pricing is reasonable and the quality of his work is very high. The work is always done correctly the first time and the results are beautiful. He is very easy to work with and does both very large jobs as well as smaller jobs and repairs. During the past several years he has removed and rebuilt an interior fireplace, restored one exterior chimney and repaired loose brick on another. He has also pointed up the mortar and made other brick repairs to the exterior of my older home from time to time. Today he removed and reset several pieces of large flagstone that had cracked or come lose on the floor of my front porch and steps. It looks great and you can't tell which pieces were repaired. He is the only person I use for masonry work and I would recommend him without hesitation.
