McNabb Roofing was very professional and on time and provided all of the necessary repairs. I have used McNabb roofing before for my fathers house and they not only were the best price out of all roofers they also came highly recommended by my insurance company in a full roof replacement due to storm damage. I will use them again because you cannot beat a family run business that really cares about its customers.

This is a review for McNabb Roofing in Haymarket, VA ([*** Link removed ***] We requested estimates from three companies. While price is important, I've learned not to automatically go with the lowest bid. That being said, McNabb actually beat both of their competitors, and their estimate broke out an option for an upgrade to architectural shingles, which I appreciated as it provided hard information for making a decision. The team showed up when they promised and prepared the site while the owner who directed the team picked up the materials. I've noticed in our neighborhood that other contractors have materials delivered ahead of time, which leaves the homeowner with pallets of materials in their front yard. Not McNabb. They brought the materials and they went straight from the truck to the roof. One final thing regarding materials: The owner called me to discuss the color choice I'd made and to warn me that if it varied too much from what I was replacing that HOAs sometimes force owners to re-do! He didn't have to check with me and could have blindly bought the color I specified. I appreciated that he gave me a heads-up. I adjusted my color choice to avoid potential HOA problems. Taking the time to call and discuss this was very professional. We have a very challenging location as our townhouse is an inner unit with a peak on the front and a large tree in our small front yard. The team worked that out well. They were *fast* (around 6 hours from when they started), and they cleaned up so well that, had I left in the morning and returned later in the day, I would never have been able to tell that they'd been here. The final bill was right to the penny of the estimate. They returned later to pick up the check. I asked a few maintenance questions, which they were happy to answer. McNabb is an awesome company. They've been at it for over thirty years. Roofing is what they do all day every day. They know it. And when I paid the owner at the end of the day he mentioned in passsing that he arrived from a huge job they were wrapping up. So clearly they serve both residential and commerical customers. I higly recommend McNabb Roofing.

Very well.  Price was best of three estimates we got.  They came on time as scheduled, did a good job (at least, as best as we can tell), cleaned up well.  We used them for roof repairs last winter and they again had the lowest price and did a great job.  Highly recommend.

I had no issues with the entire process. Mr. McNabb was very knowledgeable and gave me several options when selecting the type of shingles. Shortly after the installation we had a snow storm which dislodged one of the gutters on the above the second floor of the house. I called them and they came right out and fixed it without charging me. 
The cost of the roof replacement was $4,690 (including 5 sheets of plywood) and the gutter/spouting was $930. I was one of three homes in my cul-de-sac that had McNabb replace our roofs at the same time so the price probably reflects a discount.

Before we closed on our house in November, we requested a roof inspection. Mainly for someone to make sure it was in decent condition and repair any glaring problems. The sellers hired McNabb and they ended up replacing some shingles and cleaning some moss, but on their inspection form, McNabb said the roof was in good condition.
Fast forward to April when there were three days or constant, horrible rain. Our ceiling started leaking, so we called a few roofers to get some estimates, including McNabb. To McNabb's credit, none of the other roofers could confirm the exact location of the leak. Seems this may have been one of those mysterious- only happens when it downpours leaks. But McNabb still came out and did some additional repairs on our roof at no cost.
The only strange thing is that they never told me they were doing the repairs. One day a gentleman came and just looked at the inside of the house to see the leak, and then a couple of weeks later I called to follow up, hoping they would send someone to look at the actual roof and was informed that they had already come out and done some repairs. But, we haven't had any leaking since, and there has been some heavy rain, so I'm not going to complain!

We had water coming into our kitchen from a leak in the roof. McNabb repaired the affected section of roof, including flashing around the chimney. Insurance covered the cost, so price was not a factor for us.

McNabb promptly came out and was able to complete a seamless repair in only a few hours.  While he was at our house, we discussed the problem of water getting into our middle level ceiling.  McNabb was able to decipher the problem and effect a small repair to our gutter system that worked perfectly.  His work is honest and of high quality, the cost is reasonable, and I will be contacting him when the time comes to replace our roof.

They previously replaced the roof of a detached garage on the property.  They did a very good job on that and is why I called them for a repair of the roof of main house.  They did not try to sell me a new roof, they simply did the repair that was needed and did it well.

I was sure that the leak was coming from my garage roof, but David quickly diagnosed the problem as improper deck flashing along the back wall of the garage.  He recommended that I contact a deck repair company and I did.  The leak is completely gone.  I never would have figured this out on my own.  McNabb roofing saved me a lot of time and frustration and didn't charge me a penny for their visit.  It was refreshing to deal with an ethical and competent contractor.  I would HIGHLY recommend McNabb Roofing!

The work went on really well.  They came out and gave me an estimate immediately.  They kept in contact with me to let me know what was going on.

They are very excellent roofers. They got me in right away after I called, which really impressed me. They are very thorough and really know their trade.

I was installing my own attic fan, but needed someone to install the gable vent, as I didn't have a ladder high enough, nor have I worked with siding.  I called McNabb on the recommendation of a neighborhood handyman service.  I was immediately impressed by the customer service exhibited by Judy, who apparently is the wife of the owner per another reviewer.  Several other companies either never responded to my e-mails or phone calls, but she was on the ball in terms of communication, both by phone and e-mail.  I was able to get an estimate and the work scheduled in maybe 3-4 days. 

A gentleman named Gary came and installed the vent.   I had done some work reframing in the attic, but I hadn't put studs where the vent needed to be nailed in, so he helped me get that measured up so I could install them.  I can tell that he wanted to do quality work, and not skimp on things like this. 

A week later, I had a small leak from the vent during a very strong rainstorm.  He came back a couple of days later and was able to identify the cause (bottom of vent frame had detached) and fix it.  He said to call him back if I had any further leaks.  So far, so good....hurricane Irene posed no problems.   Good to know that they stand by their work. 

From what I've seen, this is a very-well-run small business.  I plan to use them again soon to repair some shingles. 

We received an estimate. They provided samples to choose the correct color tiles. They showed up on time, worked all day. Cleaned up the site when they were finished. Judy in the office was helpful in answering our questions. They worked in the heat. Good work.

The workers did a great job on a super hot day. We expected the work to take two days, they were done in one. From the crew who came out and placed the trailer, to the office staff-I'd hire this company again.  They did a great job.

They were great and they did it in one day. The materials were fantastic and good attention to detail and I would highly recommend them. They were a little more expensive.
