The initial communication and first "deep" cleaning were okay. The price quoted of $125 per visit every other week was said to be based on $35 per worker per hour. We accepted. After the first cleaning, the house looked good when I came home from work. However, when I went to bed, I noticed that there were some cobwebs in the corner of the ceiling above my head. I mentioned that when they called to confirm their next visit, and they were taken care of.
The next time they came, I happened to be home. Three cleaners arrived. I stayed out of their way, but I did note the time. They were in my house for less than an hour! After they left, I notice that the floor in our small sun room had not been mopped; it had untouched spill marks on it. Again I reported it, and the next time it was better.
Then there was the wood floor problem. Damp mopping the wood floors was great for getting some of the unsweepable dirt up, but after a few sessions of their cleaning, I noticed that the floors were getting filmy looking and they felt a little sticky under foot. In addition, we are fairly sure they put a slight dent in our stove and a slight chip in our bathroom tile. And they definitely did not dust picture frames or mirrors.
The last straw came when I went to use the bathroom sink in the evening after they had been here. It had been fine in the morning, but that evening it was barely draining. The next morning, my husband put two doses of drain cleaner in it to no avail. Finally he use the plunger, and pulled up a grimy plug of what he described as "mop water trash." They had evidently chosen to empty their cleaning bucket into the sink!
When I called to cancel the service, I was asked why we were cancelling. I reported the things I have just listed. The response was, "Okay, we'll cancel the service."
The next time they came, I happened to be home. Three cleaners arrived. I stayed out of their way, but I did note the time. They were in my house for less than an hour! However once we commence regular service, we charge a flat rate. We price our service this way to insure the home is clean each and every visit no matter how long it takes the team. Sometimes regular service visits take longer and sometimes they take less time than the initial clean. We guarantee 100% satisfaction for every cleaning visit. If for any reason a customer is not satisfied, we send the team back to correct the areas of concern free of charge. Most important in such circumstances is for the customer to communicate with us so that we can have the opportunity to live up to our 100% satisfaction guarantee. It is our understanding that our Office Manager did offer to send the team back or to send another team free of charge and was told not to do so. We do hope you will re-consider allowing us the opportunity to live up to our 100% satisfaction promise. We value customer feedback and most certainly want all of our customers to be satisfied with our service. We take great pride in the quality of service we have provided for over 23 years to hundreds of satisfied customers in the Prince William and Fauquier Counties of Virginia."

I have used them for seven years now and I love them! They provide their own products, but they will use my own products if I requested so. At my request, I have been able to have the same team of ladies for my house. They are also flexible with scheduling and will change the appointment date if I need.

I have a monthly service agreement with Maid Brigade, and have been using them for several years now. The same two ladies clean for me each month, and they are terrific. If I need to change a date, or ask for something specific, the office staff is very responsive.
