HIGHLANDER REMODELING

It went well. Fast service prompt job was done before I was able to ask how long it would. Fair pricing and spoke directly with the owner of the company. I was asking if Ineeded a full gutter (which would have been more money) but he came back and told me I only needed to repair one section. Very honest company.

I  contacted Mr. Ron Serrano based on recommendations from my friends. 
Ron Serrano arrived on time, and was very polite. I needed a rotten window sill replaced, new hinges on a broken kitchen cabinet door, and  wood brackets installed to 2 bay-windows and several regular windows, so I can add the Martha Stewart Living wood curtain rods. Nothing complicated, I already had the materials, and Rod gave me a verbal cost estimate for labor. 
Since it was raining that day, we both agreed to schedule the replacement of the the window sill for a sunny day. 
Ron did a very good job replacing the broken hinges on kitchen cabinet door, then followed exactly my instructions when installing the window brackets. It was a very easy job, and Ron did it very well and at a very good price. 
I will hire him again to fix the window sill, as well as for other handyman work I might need. 
 

Rod was repeatedly late or not showing up, tore down two bathrooms before confirming parts and tub fixture would be 4 weeks out - we had to bathe in our sink.  Performed electrical that shut off our refridgerator causing losses of food.  Flooring is bubbling and creaking and we had to have both bathrooms remodeled again because they failed code.  Tile work is crooked, grout is peeling up, tub fixture was uneven, paint was chipped and splashed on our flooring.  Work was so poor every contractor we brought in to fix it said he should have been arrested.  Worst nightmare ever.

Extremely unprofessional, always late and often a no show. Work was very poor quality. Tile he put in cracked, grout is peeling up, a bathtub he installed leans to one side and my electrical work in the kitchen he remodeled failed and I had to have the wall torn into. He used wrong paint, painted two rooms in the wrong color and charged me for trips to Home Depot he never made. It was a horrible experience and I would never, ever recommend him to anyone. The two people who did use him while also working for me have had codes issues. Very, very bad experience.
