Century Stair Company is the premier manufacturer of stairs and rails in Northern Virginia. The company was founded in 1976 by Mr. Don Costello, who remains the company’s sole owner. Since then Century Stair Company has had a history of stability, growth, and commitment to customer service. As the Washington-Maryland-Virginia new housing market has experienced tremendous growth, Century Stair Company has grown along with it, developing a reputation for building quality wood stairs and rails at competitive prices with outstanding service. Century Stair Company builds a wide variety of preassembled wood stairs. These include curve stairs, winder stairs, open stairs, combination stairs, and straight box stairs. Another major product line is preassembled hand rail systems. These may be ordered unfinished or prefinished in a variety of styles and colors. Century Stair Company also offers a wide assortment of rails for builders who install their own systems. Century Stair Company has strategic location in Haymarket, Virginia, about 35 miles southwest of Washington, DC. The plant is just off Interstate Highway 66, with access to Interstates 95 and 81. Century Stair Company occupies a 60,000 square foot manufacturing complex including an assortment of computer controlled manufacturing machines for precise cutting of parts resulting in the accurate assembly of products.
