Description of Work: Thad is wonderful! He's very skilled and knowledgeable and explains what he's doing and why. He's also great with people, works quickly but carefully. I can't say enough good things. Just a great experience. I highly recommend him.

 + -1 moreHe was extremely prompt and performed the tasks with expertise and priofessionalism. We plan to have him tune the piano, if necessary, once it gets moved to its final resting place.
Description of Work: Replaced the missing foot pedal brace, repaired one of the ivorys that have come loose, and checked the tuning.

piano tuning
 + -1 moreThad was very punctual and professional. Unfortunately the tuning did not hold very well (my husband plays a lot and very, very strongly), so we had to call him back out the next week. The tuning was lost almost immediately. He would probably be fine for a piano that does not get played that much or by a concert pianist. He was very nice and reasonable priced.
Description of Work: He tuned our piano (Kawai-6'9' grand).

Schatzel Piano Service offers the following services: I offer tuning, cleaning, and any repair service that can be done in-home. I have a workshop for any work that needs completing away from the piano, or requires special tools I don't carry on the job, or is to messy to be done in-home.
I have no means of moving pianos, exterior refinishing, or complete rebuilding which requires a rebuild shop. I left rebuilds and shop work to pursue in-home work when my brother left the business.
If you have need of moving or rebuild service, call and I can refer you to my colleagues who specialize in those needs.
