Made appointment by phone, Took car in and they got to it immediately and got to it, they also put in synthetic oil.  We were very happy with the oil change and they even washed the car.  We were very happy to have them do the oil change.  We will be back.

Installed 4 new performance Michelin tires and completed 4 wheel alignment. Called on Friday, they had the tires, and was able to schedule the work on Monday morning. Note I had called three other tire companies and they would have to order the tires. I was able to use a buy 3 tires get fourth tire for $1. Note, il came out cheaper using Toyota dealer than going to tire shops. Very satisfied with the way the service department treated me and quickly completed the work. I would recommend.

They are probably the best warranty service provider by a dealership we've ever had. Excellent service, and in particular, the courtesy displayed by all those we dealt with.

Took my car in for an oil change and to my amazement they did what I needed insted of trying to tell me that I had all kinds of things wrong with my car and charge me more. The staff was very professional and helpful as well.

Full inspection of vehicle is always performed and notifies you of any issues with vehicle. On this trip I just had a routine oil change and state inspection done. Of course they notify of a few things that are recommended to be done the vehicle but I usually only get the critical items taken care of. I handle all of the air filters and wiper blades on my own to save quite a bit of money. The prices are a little high but I've taken my car to this dealer for service since I bought it there and have never had too much of an issue to complain about other than price.

The insurance covered most of it and we had to co-pay.  What I like about this particular business is that everyone is very friendly and it appears that everyone that works there is happy.  Everyone that we have interacted with is happy including those with a bad attitude.  They are all very helpful, answer all of our questions, they explain the cost upfront before any work is done.  Price wise, they are a little bit high.

My check engine light had come on so I went to Autozone to have them pull the codes. There were 5 problem codes that came up. I researched them on the internet and found that there is a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) out from Toyota/Scion regarding this issue which is common to the make/model of my car. I went to Mcdonough Toyota in Staunton to get a quote on fixing the problem. From my research, I knew that it shouldn't be more than $800.00 to fix. Mcdonough insisted on running the diagnostics again for $40 (that Autozone had done for free) and they only pulled one code. They diagnosed that the charcoal canister and the camshaft timing gear assembly needed to be replaced for a grand total $1277. They never pulled the TSB.
I then called Steven Toyota in Harrisonburg for their quote on the exact same job. They said they would do it for $925. I made an appointment with them. When I brought it in and explained why I wanted this work done, they went ahead and ran the diagnostic, found the TSB and fixed the problem (which was replacing the charcoal canister) for $560. When I went back to pick up my car, they clearly explained what they did and why they did it. They were professional, courteous and respectful.
I will definitely go back to Steven Toyota.

Recently the "Check Engine" light came on in my Toyota Tacoma, then the next day the (automatic) transmission did not shift normally. Fearing a major problem (but maybe one covered by the longer drivetrain warranty) I made a service appointment with Steven Toyota, where I bought the truck a few years ago. It turned out it was the result of wiring chewed by a squirrel in my driveway. Steven Toyota fit me in for an initial evaluation of the problem the day that I called. After they had fully diagnosed the problem they spelled out for me the options for fixing it (i.e., they did not just give me the most expensive "school solution" out of the factory manual), explaining the advantages and disadvantages (durability and price among them) of each option. They went with the option of my choice, and the truck was finished and ready ahead of time and at the low end of the price range they had quoted me for that option (nobody knew exactly the extent of the problem when they first diagnosed it and gave me the options for fixing it). Having seen too many people have bad experiences with car dealerships when it comes to service I've never been a fan of going to a car dealer for service, but my (single) experience so far with Steven Toyota was a welcome exception -- I'm very happy with the service they provided and will use them in the future.

They checked it out right away and found a problem with the water pump. He seemed knowledgable about the problem but had to order the part. I was going to be without a car which was a problem being on vacation. My history with other dealerships was not as positive but i called my home dealer and they were able to order the part. This dealership was able to order the part also. By Friday of that week the part still had not arrived from either location. This dealership however took it upon themselves to send a shuttle for pick up and delivery of the part we needed. We didn't know they were doing that but were very pleasantly surprised that they did. The service we received was over the top. The cost savings was significant, their service was exceptional, and my ratings for them on this list is very high. I recommend them. NOTE: That shuttle drive was no small thing. The round trip was 5 hours! Very noteworthy.
