We hired Steven to build us a new 432 sq ft L-Shaped wood deck on our home. Steven took the time to draw up the plans as we wanted, which was with 45 degree boards running the whole deck, free standing, and designing what was needed to attach to the top of an old cistern. Even though he knew the job was not going to be an easy one with getting a permit from our city which has very tight guidelines he still took on the job. Steven's work is AMAZING, and he takes the time to make sure that you get exactly what you want and builds it 2 times better. His craftsmanship was amazing and we could have not gotten anything better. I would highly recommend Second Nature Customs, LLC for your next job. Steven was very patient and completely understanding regarding an installation I set up for one of my customers. Flawless job, he knew exactly how to handle the situation. He is at the top of my list when it comes to any Home/Office improvement. I would hire him for all of my jobs if I could.

I ordered a pre-fab propane fireplace with a mantel. We wanted installation and add a bookcase on each end, which needed to be custom made. I found Second Nature Custom on Home Advisor and contacted Steven. He came out and I explained what I needed, which was setup and installation, plus book cases. Steven gave me a very acceptable price and he was selected for the job. I mentioned I would like some lights in the bookcases, and Steven suggested lights changing colors and remotely controlled. He installed and built exactly what we had discussed. My wife and I are very happy with the project. I can change colors to a mix of any color. I will use him again on any project. He is dependable, honest and takes pride in his workmanship,

I did not really have a wood fence installed, we had ha unique request, we needed an invisible fence that would allow us and my neighbors to continue to enjoy our boxwoods without destroying them or blocking the view for either. I had several other people attempt to come up with an answer and no one could, until Steven was consulted, he recommended mesh fenceing which is working perfectly. He came over promptly and offered several options, he installed the fence within days, this was critical as I had a new puppy. He was also able to come up with a way to put a gate between the garage and the house which also required thinking outside the box. Steven is honest, dependable, able to think outside the box, also he is conscious of your budget and gives you a clear estimate prior to starting the work. Our project actually came in under budget! Going into the project I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but talked with Steven and he put together some ideas. He sent several possibilities and the pricing for each. He recommended an option that was nice and best bang for my buck. He came in, did the work in a timely manner, and it was great work. I'd recommend him, and would use him again (and probably will). Steven will pick your mind and work with you to figure out exactly what you want. He was also able to work with some specifications that I had as well.

Steven was fantastic to work with. He did a great job of my flooring, including updating the baseboards where I had requested. The project was started promptly and finished quickly, including clean-up, all within the estimated cost. I would hire him again for any home improvement needs!

I live on-premises of a business I manage.
