 + -1 moreOur experience with D&D Excavating was completely positive, and they have done a great deal of work for us in some tricky terrain. We built our house on completely unimproved land, and land that has a significant amount of rock not far beneath the surface. It took some real skill to successfully excavate for the foundation of our house and to install the (rather deep) ground loop for its geothermal heating system. In doing these things, the skill and ingenuity of this company saved us thousands of dollars it would have cost us to bring in heavier equipment to deal with the rock in a more straightforward way. This house has been finished now for almost two years, so we've had time to appreciate the quality of this work. The road they built into our house is very well built, beautifully banked to help with water flow, and has a good solid base. The drainage around the house (not just the road, but rainwater control systems as well) they built work beautifully. When ever we need excavating work in the future, we will call them.
Description of Work: D&D Excavating did all the excavation when we built our custom house and associated infrastructure in 2008. They cleared the land, built the road, excavated for the foundation and did the excavation for the septic system and geothermal heating system.
