When I returned there was a huge gouge in my driveway where their leaf vacuum trailer jack rolled downhill when they disconnected their truck.   About a week later I received a invoice that was for significantly more than the amount that was agreed upon, for "additional work" that they claimed they performed. Even though they had my home and cell phone numbers, Top Notch never called and told me there were additional charges nor received my permission to do additional work.  I sent them a check for the agreed on amount, which they cashed.  I kept receiving additional invoices for the work that they claimed to have completed.  I wrote them three letters returning their invoices, explaining that we had agreed on a amount for the job, toured the work area to be done and that I had paid what they had quoted in writing.  I then received a summons to go defend myself in small claims court.  I was being sued in small claims court for the amount that they claimed that I owed.  I took a vacation day off work, showed up in court and explained to the judge that we had agreed on a price, walked the area and that I had paid the invoice in full and on time. The judge asked the owner if what I said was true.  He finally admitted that it was factual in every way.  The judge dismissed their claim against me.  I would strongly recommend against anyone using this firm to do any landscaping work at any time..
