I have always appreciated the work by Port City. My only issue with this job was the return of the units. It took much longer than I expected, and required multiple phone calls to have them schedule the return. But they are always responsive and cooperative, and very polite.

The dryer installation went perfectly smoothly. I've use their service before. I also mentioned to them the issues I was having with the oven door and they came up with a creative solution to file the oven door hinge. A previous company had installed the replacement hinge but it didn't work or allow my oven door to close properly. They even changed the light bulb that had burned out in the oven from the door being open all the time. The tech was excellent and knew exactly who to call at Jenn-Air. They are the only people I will call to come back out and service my oven and appliances. Their prices are very competitive and reasonable and the person who schedules appointment and provides quotes on service and labor has excellent communication.

Vernon arrived on time with part he thought might be broken in hand. Although it was a different hose that was leaking, he cleaned things up and stopped all leaking. The next day he promptly called me to come over. He arrived at the agreed time, agine extremely well mannered and dressed. He proceeded to quietly repair the hose. When he was done everything was clean and back in place. He left the old hose so that I could see what was replaced. I fell very satisfied to know of a company I can rely on.

I received the requested warning call. Technician was very courteous and professional. He brought the correct switch and quickly.

We have a house warranty through Home Warranty of America so we knew we would have to pay a $100 service fee, no matter what the problem was (or how easy or complex to fix). Port City was the assigned contractor. The appointment was scheduled as soon as the company could do it (they only service Williamsburg twice a week). The technician called when he was on the road and came precisely at the scheduled time. He determined that the problem was not with the cooktop but with a faulty electrical outlet the cooktop was plugged into. He assured us that the second outlet in the duplex outlet was safe to use and the cooktop worked perfectly after he plugged it into the functioning outlet. We will have the entire outlet replaced when we have some other electrical work done in the kitchen. The technician was personable and totally professional. We were very pleased with the service from Port City Appliance Service.

Port City was very professional... Came out when scheduled, identified the defective part, ordered the part and repaired the range. Very courteous, polite, and thorough.

This company had great service. They were very timely and cleaned up after themselves. Since repair I have not had an issue with this washing machine or dryer. I highly recommend them.

They did a great job. They also got back to us quickly. The appliances are still working great. They were eally quick and the service man seemed to find the problem rite away. My husband and him talked about it and my husband was really impressed with his knowledge. He came back the next day with the part to fix it. He did a great job. The freezer is over ten years old.

I called Port City because they are one of the few companies who will work on an LG washer that is out of warranty. In the course of explaining what the symptoms were for the machine, I was instructed to try unplugging it, waiting a few minutes, and plugging it in again. That apparently reset the circuits in the machine, and it now works just fine. The next time I need appliance repair, I will definitely call Port City.

They were not able to fix it the first time, but they came back and fixed it the second time. They were very polite and clean. It went fine and it has been working properly since.

All the work Port City personnel did for me was outstanding. It was done when they said it would be done, and in a friendly fashion. The fee for their services couldn't have been fairer or more reasonable.

The fact they understood the timing of this type of repair was great. We had coolers packed with ice to try and kept the food good until they got it fixed and they did it fast enough to where nothing went bad. The refrigerator was cooling again as soon as they finished and we appreciated the work and fashion it was done in. Our refrigerator was still under warranty.
