About us
MC Peters Cabinet Shop, Inc., is a full service custom cabinet & countertop shop. We have been in business since 1959. We service all of Hampton Roads, including the Peninsula & Southside. We are one of the few truly custom built cabinets shops left. We offer free estimates. We will come out and measure you project OR if you have your plans, bring them buy and we can give you an estimate as well. We accept MC, Visa & Discover* We work closely with our customers to bring their vision to reality. The work had to be rescheduled several times because of scheduling conflicts, sometimes at the last minute. I understood my job was very small, and therefore not as high a priority but rather than being done by Thanksgiving the counter barely made it back in before Christmas.
The only disappointment is that although He had agreed they would make a splash from the leftover material (and there was a lot of material removed), the men in the shop did not use the material efficiently in making the new edge but went with just an easy cut out of the removed material not leaving any for a splash (except a tiny 1" tall along part of it). That was a really big disappointment because this is against a wall with no overhead cabinets so running a tile splash will look really awkward. Unfortunately when they came to install was the first I learned they had changed the design so there was nothing to be done.
