Walt Shattuck was on the site to service my unit. He was very polite and professional. His workmanship showed he cared and was very knowledgeable with is job performance.

The particular worker Jason came out and it was a very very hot weather. He took his time and very thorough.

Good and easy

Great company.  They installed the heat pump at my home in 2004 and have serviced it since then.  They are very responsive to all service calls (even on weekends), always very professional and willing to explain what problems they have found, how they will fix it and the cost.  I have found their prices to be very competitive.

Overall, it was very pleasant working with Kearney and Sons. I would recommend them to anyone as far as a provider goes. They are reliable and stand behind their work.

My old heating and A/C system was beyond repair. I called Weathermakers for a quote and from the beginning, it went smoothly. Todd, the salesman, was knowledgeable, courteous, and punctual. He helped me choose a new system that would heat and cool my home sufficiently. It wasn't a problem to move my new system to another side of my house. They removed my old system and ductwork. Tony and his technicians were prompt and efficient. He discussed everything he was doing with me. All questions and decisions were discussed to my satisfaction. My new system was installed in the timeframe quoted and exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this company.

Service tech arrived and began troubleshooting problem. He located the problem very quickly and after some discussions with the service tech and the main branch I was not charged for this service call because of the service contract I have with the company. The service tech spent just over 3.5 hours checking everything with the system to ensure everything was operating the way it should. When he was finished, he made sure he cleaned whatever mess he had made and explained everything he did in detail. I truly love this company.

We got back from vacation mid afternoon on Monday and discovered our air conditioning stopped working. I contacted Kearney and Sons and they said they could have someone at our house at between noon and two on Tuesday to troubleshoot the problem. At 1230 the tech showed up and within 30 minutes discovered we had three leaks in our air conditioning coil. Unfortunately it couldn't be repaired so the coil would need to be replaced. He mentioned that normal lead time was about 3 days to get the part but the service department would be the better one to provide actual lead time. So he wrote up the bill for this visit which was the cheapest out of the 3 companies we contacted.Total for the day was $285.00. In about two hours we received a call saying they located a part and can be out Thursday at noon to install. I called the company Thursday morning at 0900 to confirm the time and they said everything was on track and they would be at our house at noon. At 1230 we had no tech so I called and they explained the tech had to go to Chesapeake VA to pick up the part but should be at our house at 1pm. At 120 I called them back because still no tech. They said he was about 20 minutes out based on his location and apologized for the delay. At 145 tech showed up and began working. He wrapped everything up at about 5pm and we were back in business with air conditioning. Even though they were 90 minutes late of the install date, I would recommend this company. The staff was very friendly and very honest in their price quotes.
