Mr Gaddis was on time and prepared. He inspected the hole and ductwork in crawl space. He did spot a couple of items on a furnace installed in 2007by another company that were possibly not up to code. He proposed several ideas for improving air flow and operation of the HVAC system that could be completed when and if we decided to replace the existing duct work. His quote for repair was similar to one we received later.
My concern with his quote for duct work replacement was that he did not do any analysis of heat from the sun (which way our house faced, trees etc) and did not load test the system. THe other two companies were very thorough and did these two items and several more to determine type and size of duct work. His quote was similar to those.
Final concern - I had been referred to him by a friend. She simply passed along the phone number and I never checked the website (that was prior to me re-joining Angie's list as well). He charges $85 for inspection/quote and never divulged that until we were in conversation after the inspection about the quote. The $85 is refunded if you use him for the work. It is disclosed on the website; however, I had not looked at it and he never mentioned it during the time I set up the appointment or upon arriving. His quote to my husband while I was standing there was "Well, I didn't tell her this, and she never asked, but there is a fee for the quote". This is my reason for a C professionalism rating and suspect it should be lower, but I have to take some blame for not asking.

They are very responsive and professional. They do quality work. They were able to fix some items that were done incorrectly by a previous company.

The Gaddis team was amazingly fast and dependable. They did a quality, professional job at a very reasonable price. Our A/C works great-- much better than when we bought the place in 2003. We will call on them to do our regular maintenance when that time comes.

My A/C Unit stopped working so I placed an emergency call to another company that caused more damage then they fixed. I contacted this company the next day. The service guy arrived assessed my problem and worked with my schedule to replace the broken part the next day. He recognized that the part was under warranty and handled the details himself! He is highly proficient and professional.
