Carpets were only visibly dirty in 2 small spots and they did get those clean. He stated my carpets were not dirty.
But this is rental property and they had not been done in 18 months and 2 dogs had lived there. They were dirty just didn't have visible dirt due to color of carpets.
I felt they did not take enough time doing the carpets, especially the stairs. Also left them considerably wet compared to other companies that I have used.
Asked the guy if they gave a discount for Angie's list members and he said he didn't think they were on Angie's list.
I would try this company again but watch over them to see how they were doing the rooms and make sure the carpets were not left so wet. I did not watch them do the work.
The carpets do look clean just took too long to dry and it was summer and humid so house smelled wet for a couple days.
Price was reasonable.
All work was accomplished with high quality
Agreed to clean sofas on the same visit even though that work was not in original work order which I greatly appreciated
I wanted to watch the work being accomplished (and did in fact do so) but the technician told me I didn't have to watch which made me feel as though I was bothering him by watching. I don't like feeling that way and recommend that they be more sensitive to their customers in the future.
As for his work, it was fine, except for the stain left at the top of the stairs where he finished sucking up dirty fluids (my carpets are beige upstairs). This is nowhere near where the pet stains are. Now, when you walk to the top of the stairs, there is an attractive rust-colored stain, about 18" x 12" right there. Not good. No, I will not use him again.
* 2 men showed, polite, no issues with them. Stairs and pre-treat were extra and expected, so no problem. They don't move any furniture, it is ONLY what is in sight to clean.
1) Living Room was OK.... we HARDLY use it and when they were done, a few spots that were there to start, still there.
2) Upstairs hall: pretty good job
3) Rug under Kitchen table: very good job
4) Stairs: very good job
5) TV Room..... ** Rug was soaking wet and didn't dry for 2 DAYS, not hours and I'm not exaggerating.... almost like they forgot to complete the sucking of the water/dirt & drying part. and rug actually looked DIRTIER then when they started -- must be pulling the dirt up, but because potentially they didn't finish, the Family Room carpet is actually dirtier looking now, then when they started.
when finished, they suggested I can add a tip into the check, but I wanted to wait till it actually all dried to see if it was worth it.
Bottom Line: our carpet is old and really needs replacing, so some of the cleaning is a factor of the carpet being old. We know that. We were HOPING the carpet would at least LOOK clean and get me through one more year to save more money for new carpet. If these rooms came out clean I had 7 more to do. The men were fine; half of what was done was very good, some was OK, and again, the main room of traffic (Family Room) didn't come out good at all. I won't use them myself again, wasn't happy with the results, but that could be just my experience.
