Robert comes across as a very sincere, personable and honest person, unfortunately he turned out to be somewhat of a con artist. My husband and I were going out to dinner and a young man came up to us and offered to have our lawn cut. We told them we were going out, but they offered to do the work anyways. We gave them $55.00 and when we came back the backyard looked very nice and was exactly the way he said it would be. He came back a week later and offered to mow our lawn again and also proposed that we signed a contract for regular mowing and weed maintenance, remove weeds from driveways, mulch all beds. He said that it would be $2200 and we gave them $1100 down. He actually does do wonderful work, which is why we hired him, but he just took our money and left. They came once after that. I saw him a week later and he said that his truck had broken down and asked if I would give him some money to help him pay for repairs. I said no. Then he called and said that he broke his leg and offered to have someone come to do the work on his behalf, but they never showed up. I never heard back from him.
