This company is AMAZING! I would recommend these guys to anyone. We asked for estimate, cut em down provided it within a day, we excepted the quote, and they arranged a time to come out and showed on time. They removed the fence, which we were informed of ahead of time, set it aside, moved lawn furniture and bird baths that i forgot to move. They were extremely respectful of my property. Due to the complexity of removing the two pine trees, they had to bring in a bucket truck and brought a crew of about 10 guys and some other pretty large equipment such as grinders and chipper. The first pine removed was against a fence in a tight space. They were very safety conscious of both body and property, wrapped the tree, cut in large 20 ft sections and craned it down in the yard , where the crew cut off the branches and hauled it away. The second pine was between 70 to 90ft if not taller, stuck in a corner between two fence lines and behind my shed with two houses behind that. This was the largest of the pine, and they were able to remove in just a short amount of time. They have a system, worked quickly, very efficient, and they clean up after each step. The next day they returned, and when we got home, all the work was done, - cutting down 20 smaller trees such as maples - about 20 - 30 ft tall, several large bushes, and grinding all the stumps, and the yard was IMMACULATE!!! Four things impressed us the most. 1. We were able to go to work and let the crew do their work. When we got home, everything was complete exactly like the quote - NO WORRIES. 2. They had to remove the fence, and we didn't expect it to be put back, and were actually talking to fence guys to put it back, but when we got home the fence was re-installed. This was almost 30ft of fence that had to be removed to allow the equipment into the yard, and we were shocked that they re-installed the fence, because we had not discussed it and it was not in the quote. That thrilled us! 3. The pruning of the oak tree was gorgeous. This is about a 70 ft 100 year old oak with tons of branches. The difference of before and after the work was fantastic. and 4. The crew was so very nice, they were very respectful of our belongings, and the clean up after the work was unbelievable. You would never know that they had been there. Our yard is positevly GORGEOUS and we couldn't be happier. Just some other information for anyone looking for tree services. We asked for a total of three quotes from different tree service companies. The first quote came in and was quite high to remove only two pines. The second tree service never bothered to show for an estimate after we called and they said they would show. The third quote was from Cut Em Down, and they listened to what we wanted done, made suggestions, did a thorough walk through of the yard and gave us the best price. Our yard - front and back - is absolutely gorgeous thanks to the work Cut Em Down performed. We are very impressed and would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for tree service.

On time, very professional company. Removed tree with a crane in two pieces, dropped it on the ground, had a crew to cut it up and cleam up and were done in two hours.

A worker for Cut'em Down was canvassing our street on Friday and I had been considering having two trees removed and asked for an estimate. He contacted the owner by cell phone and made an appt for him to come to my home on Sunday. The owner, Joe Normandeau, arrived on time Sunday and evaluated the job. He quoted me a price for removing the two trees and a second price to include trimming the three pines in my backyard. I thought the price reasonable and agreed to the work being done two days later. The Cut'em Down crew of 5 men arrived promptly on Tuesday, removed the two trees and chipped the debris into their truck to haul away. They then used a "Cherry Picker" truck to "uplift" the pines in my backyard. They crew layed down sheets of plywood for the truck to drive over to keep from damaging my lawn. These trees are about 35 years old and had never been professionally trimmed before. The pines are in a group of three and have mature flowering shrubs planted around the base. One member of the crew was on the "Cherry Picker" and did the cutting and the other members of the crew hauled the debris to the street to be chipped. At no time was there any damage to the shrubs at the base of the trees. All branches and clippings from the trees were carefully lowered to the ground. Upon completion of the cutting, all debris was removed,the work area was blown and raked and the street was broom clean. The only hitch was that the stump grinder had been damaged and was not available on the day the work was performed. Two workers came on the following Saturday and ground the stumps, removed the larger wood chips and raked the site. Customer satisfaction seemed to be of prime importance, not only to the owner, but also to the other members of his crew. I was consulted regularly regarding my satisfaction with the trimming of the pines, as well as the cleanliness of the site when they had finished the job. I have had trees removed from my property by other services in the past, however, this was the most painless experience yet. The total job took around 4 hours. I thought the price was very good and the outcome was excellent. I would recommend Joe Normandeau and his Cut'em Down Tree Service in Hampton.
