Custom Painting And Contracting

I've held this review for a few weeks because I couldn't believe he was as phenomenal as I thought.  I've asked around and sure enough, I had a remarkable experience.   
He is a private contractor, he owns the business and does all the work.  He came in and walked the rooms, listened to our ideas and asked smart questions we had not considered such as caulking the windows and painting the brick and trim. He gave us a quote both verbally and in writing but suggested we get some others.  He recommended a paint brand but was fine when we said we preferred to go with another. After talking with 2 other painters, one of which at a A+ rating on Angie's List, we gave him the job.
He showed up on Monday at 9am after getting the paint.  It was the only day he did not arrive by 8am.  He went right to work but to tell you the true we didn't think he did anything the first day.  Boy, were we wrong. I had not understood the amount of cut-in (???) he would have to do but when he came back on Tuesday and went right to work on the walls - not trim - I understood just how much he had gotten done in one day.  He was fast, efficient and worked with us every step of the way.  He took changes in stride and was quick to say when something needed extra coats.  He was still here on Saturday on a 5 day project because we added a couple extra items.  We had had 4 days of rain so when he left we approved the job but Sunday when the sun came out, we noticed a few spots that needed another coat.  He came back without a quibble on Tuesday afternoon - fitting us in after another job - and gave us another coat in the places we had spotted ... plus a few more that he felt weren't up to standard.  
I cannot tell you how pleased we were with the job and the outright professionalism he brought.  He respected us, our home, and even our curious dog who visited him frequently.  His price was more than fair and his quality was amazing. We liked him so much, we are planning for him to paint the upstairs in the spring. 

Kevin was amazing.  He did the whole job in 2 days.  It looks flawless.  He is the cleanest contractor I've ever had in my home.  He is polite and punctual.  The prices are hard to beat.  This guy is a hard worker and motivated.  Wow!
