transmission repair
 + -1 moreAdvanced Auto said they put in a rebuilt transmission. A year after they performed the job, I needed a new transmission. I paid $4000! How is that possible? When I called, they said they are no longer affiliated with the company even though the person I spoke with is the same manager.

 + 2 moreMark lied and then turned around when no one was looking, laughed in my face about what he did. He went as far as to say good luck with your transmission. He knew he has screwed me over and thought he would get away with it. The company is an LLC and not listed in their names. They have a registered agent as the owner of the company. So, if anyone wants to sue them, you have to go through the registered agent and none of their assets are attached. They used to be Free Miles, which was located in Newport News, Virginia. They were sued 49 times as Free Miles and now the cycle has started all over again in Hampton.
Description of Work: They were supposed to do a free diagnosis of my transmission. However, once they got the transmission out, they told me it would be $700. I didn't have $700 and so they said they would put the transmission in the back seat of the car. I am not mechanically inclined and do not know what a transmission looks like, so when I went to pick up my car, I thought all of the pipes and stuff in the back seat was my transmission. Fortunately, the tow truck driver told me that wasn't a transmission. When I told them, they first tried to say they put the transmission in the car. Finally, they admitted to having my Transmission in the back. Even though I have my car and transmission back, I still don't have the hardware, nuts, bolts, screws, Etc to reinstall the transmission. Because of the Shady work they did and how they tried to scam me, the car is now totaled. I can't put the transmission back in because I don't have any of the things it needs. Do not go to that place! And if you do go there, stay far away from Mark! He is a crook!

 + -1 moreOnly had one cosmetic issue that was easily fixed and I have been driving her since without an issue. My car runs like it's ten years younger.
Description of Work: I got my head gaskets replaced, water oumo replaced, timing belt replaced, valve cover gaskets, and my transmission flushed and the filters/gasket replaced.
