I really wanted to leave a good review for this but I just can't and I hope that it will help others in the future. I actually posted an ad on Craigslist due to having no luck with responses from numerous tree removal companies. Walter responded to our job post on Craigslist and said he would remove (completely) 24 pine stumps from our property. He quoted us $1200 and we thought this was fair and were excited. When Walter and crew showed up, they had a tractor. That's it. They even had to run up to the store to purchase shovels and axes to try and dig the stumps out. Long story short, they gave up on the job and never were to be seen or heard from again after husband paid them for the stumps they had uprooted (about 8) and had PROMISE to come back and remove from the property. $800 later all we had was a mess of a yard and stumps everywhere and alas had to start over with our search. Many lessons learned here!
I am posting this review now as we have found someone to complete our job, and they completed in 2 days which also included grading the land and 20 tons of gravel. You get what you pay for. Don't accept a job you are in no shape to complete and don't make false promises.
