Arn did an excellent job remodeling our 1970's era split-level home. The entire project consisted of; an addition of 500 square feet to the bedroom level and repurposing the old master bedroom space to provide additional closet space, an additional four-piece bath and a large laundry room, the removal of the old 300 sq. ft deck made of pressure treated lumber to make way for the addition and creating a new 500+ sq. ft. deck made of composite deck boards with cedar posts and wire rails, the gutting of the main level of the home and creating an open space of 600'ish sq. ft. with a new kitchen, dining and living area, and replaced the vinyl siding with Hardy Plank and composite trim in a craftsman style. We inhabited the home during construction and Arn scheduled the work so we would endure the least inconvenience. All possible exterior work for the addition was completed before displacing us from the former master bedroom. And the same occurred with the living/dining/kitchen space as well. While working on the main level, he put up a mini-foyer so we could use the front door to access the other levels of the home and this also reduced the dust and noise. The work crews used by Arn are very good and many members are really craftsman. The appropriate and best materials were used for the work and the construction techniques were top notch. Arn and his crew overachieved in making sure the structure was more sturdy than required and the parts of the home touched by Arn are the best-built parts of our home. I can easily recommend Chattan and Associates for any project. In fact, I recommended Arn for a window replacement opportunity involving a bit of construction work to a friend of mine. Chattan came in with a lower bid than the other parties and my friend is very happy with the results.

I called them because there was a leak in my room which was around the sky line. They sent someone immediately for free and looked at it then repaired the leak. It was not actually from their work but it was my roof which was starting to be very old. Actually, that is why I am looking for roof specialists. They don't let me down. They are definitely the best that I had used.

Chattan Associates is owned and run by Arn Flitcroft who is the definition of an experienced professional whose goal is high quality work. His trade employees are top-notch and very easy to work with and respectful of your property. I never felt they were cutting corners, actually they acted as if they were working on their own homes and that premium quality was the goal. My lead worker was very experienced in all areas of the project and provided fabulous coordination and always worked to ensure I was pleased with the finished work. Chattan Assoc. has long-term relationships with his trade sub-contractors (plumbers, electricians etc.) and he effectively manages their work with the larger umbrella of the project. Timetables were well communicated and managed. The finished product is beautiful and we are extremely happy with all aspects of the project.

he was one of 3 bidders. Started working when he said he would. Coordinated well with the landscaper on the draining system, removal of the cement driveway(replaced with better quality) and front stoop. Coordinated the subsequential porch, gutters and painting of the new house. Great detail, very honest on pricing and the changes we made he was fair. Incredible follow through. Always available for questions. Very helpful suggestions on questions we had on honoring the architects plans. Quality of the work was mind blowing.

Chattan was perfect all along. There were no surprises. I was informed and consulted in advance at every step. I was offered options and it was very clear that the company was after giving me what I needed (and could afford) and not rip me off. The design had been done by an architect and we followed that design without the architect's supervision. We found lots of surprises on the way (things in the design that would not work in practice) but Chattan helped me deal with them every time and make the right choices. All professionals were excellent (plumber, electrician, tiles / main workers, etc.). Perhaps the painter was not super optimal but still quite good. The contract was followed to perfection. All the time Arn and his workers were very nice and polite. Part of the job was done while I was out of the USA and we would exchange by email and phone. In fact I find Chattan a truly exceptional company.
