Flooring
While the actual work was generally acceptable, the aftermath was a mess. Specifically, stain spots were left on several sections of walls and doors, the risers on the stairs had stain heavily drizzled on all of them (and had to be repainted), tape was left on several doors, stain and an oil-like substance were dripped on more than a dozen places on the outdoor deck leading into the house, and discarded sanding disks were found in several areas. Additionally, empty soft-drink bottles and snack wrappers were left at several places. Lastly, a contractor's garbage bag filled with nearly 75 pounds of sanding residue was dragged about 20 feet up a hill behind the house and left--it ultimately split open and created an amazing mess.
