Dependable Appliance is a family owner-operator locally-owned business for In-Home Appliance Repair offered to residents of Gloucester, Williamsburg, and the Virginia Peninsula. 35 years of actual personal experience. A long-term employee of four other local businesses between 1981 and 2004, and a 5-year Factory Service job with a major appliance Manufacturer between 1991 and 1996. Don't be fooled with offers of low or waived house-call or diagnostic fees with a paid repair, coupons and "discounts" that end up being absorbed by a high final bill! In most cases, you only pay for a part plus ONE $89 service charge for the repair - even if it takes a second trip to install non-stock parts. If your appliance requires extensive or labor-intensive repairs, we let you know up-front and give you an estimate BEFORE going any further and obligating you to costs you don't approve of. Straightforward and upfront honest repairs. No pressure or tricks. All rates and repairs fully disclosed up front without hidden fees or charges! Payment via personal check and cash accepted. Credit Cards are not accepted to simplify billing/record-keeping and reduce overhead. All work is C.O.D. Non-stock parts require prepayment. no mail-in billing accepted.
