About us
We are the third generation of family owned and operated appliance service. My grandfather opened an appliance store in downtown Williamsburg in 1956. It has always been our goal to provide the best service available. This has become even more important in today's world of big companies that focus on low prices on high volumes of retail sales with no attention or experience with providing service to the customer. Service is now our specialty. We no longer have the distraction of our own retail location and can focus on service. We are fully trained, experienced, and factory authorized. We fill in where they leave off and keep your laundry rooms and kitchens working for you.

Exceptional service. 2 rare appliance issues (previous discontinued oven control module [refurbished/fixed last year] and broken cooktop). Had unexpected issue with cooktop repair...David quickly took care of us and had another cooktop delivered within days. Extremely knowledgeable and takes care of customers! Highly recommend!

I sent an email to them on Monday night, they called me on Tuesday and showed up on Friday. Not sure if they install new appliances but it is worth asking. They have great reviews on home advisors and did a professional job at a reasonable price.

Mathew and his associate came exactly when scheduled. They were quick, clean and efficient in their work. They adapted to some problems with the job and performed exactly as requested, all the while with a friendly informative attitude. Excellent response time (came the same day I called), technician was knowledgeable, quickly diagnosed the problem with our refrigerator (faulty relay control, causing no refrigeration in the main area), then fixed it with a part that he brought with him on the truck. Had it fixed and tested in about an hour, and charged a reasonable price. What more could you ask for?

Not professional throughout the process. Did not introduce themselves. Did the work without discussing it with me first. When that was brought up he was rude with an attitude while on the phone. DEFINITELY would not recommend this company.

Non-urgent refrigerator repair scheduled for Monday after I called Briggs Friday afternoon. Owner and assistant arrived when scheduled and quickly fixed the refrigerator by replacing a worn out fan. They had time to fix the door on my clothes dryer, thus saving me the cost of a second house call. They gave a senior discount, too. I am most appreciative!
