After arriving on time, Ronny and Charlie immediately got to work and proceeded competently and efficiently, finishing within the two hours they had estimated. Along the way, they communicated with me in a friendly, professional way, responding to my questions and clearly explaining what they were doing. Rarely have I been so impressed with a service provider that I felt moved to share my experience with others. While I obviously cannot speak for West End Heating and Air as a whole, I can say this: I sincerely hope that Ronny and Charlie are available the next time I need someone for heating and air work.
I should also mention my appreciation of Jason, who provided my first experience with West End a few weeks ago when he responded to my initial service request through my home warranty (American Home Shield). Like Ronny and Charlie, he was friendly, professional, competent, and efficient. I am sincerely grateful to all three of them for leaving my wife and me so pleasantly satisfied.

The service was very good. They were quite prompt. The quality of the work stood out. They did a nice job. They were respectful and considerate in their work. Cost-wise, they are very reasonable. They always refund. I was actually using them before I had to install the heat pump. I would call them at least once for my air conditioning going out and at least once for my heat going off, which is why eventually I got the new system. They were very responsive when I called them for the service. They give a range of time in which they will come and not a specific time so you have to be at home the entire time.

Quick response, courteous professional technician. He also explained what to look for if we had water accumulating in garage - usual problem is a clogged drain pipe that the homeowner can fix himself.

They arrived on time. The techs did a very thorough job and left the unit in much better shape than when they came. They were very professional. They even put show covers on when they came in the house. I would highly recommend them.

The technician that came out from West End had an ulterior motive to sell us a new unit. He specifically worded the claim so that the warranty company would not cover the fan motor replacement by saying that the leaves caused the issue. After we decided to replace the overall heat pump because it is very old, we had four different companies come out to give us quotes. Each of them said that the "leaves blocking the intake" is not something they have ever heard would cause the fan motor to burn out. They also stated that the fan motor is original to the unit. It is now obvious that the technician wanted to make sure that we would have to pay out of pocket to replace the fan motor, which really didn't make sense on such an old unit. He then wanted us to purchase a new unit and have it installed at over $5,000.
