Joe Lisi's Quality Painting

Joe checked in frequently to ensure that his crew was giving us great service.  The crew was very professional, showing up on time each day over the course of the three week job.  They did an excellent job with the painting, with very straight lines and no drip marks on the floors.  The cost estimate was very accurate, as was the time estimate.  We highly recommend Joe Lisi's Quality Painting!

Joe was terrific, as he and his crew were very professional, always on time, and did a wonderful job!  They had to replace 22 rotted out exterior boards, and his workers, Melvin and Vincent, did an excellent job.  The paint they used was Sherwin Williams, and was absolutely the best, as well as the product they used on the deck, which turned out better than I thought.  Joe Lisi is very professional, and personable, and would hire him again to do all of my painting!  The job they did, and clean up, was FIRST CLASS!

We have used Joe in the past to paint the exterior of our house and we didn't hesitate to have him come back out and do the inside of our house. He sent 2 guys to do the job and Joe came with them on the first day to give them all the instructions to get the job done per our agreement. The guys were able to finish the job in a day and a half. All in all they did a very good job and we are pleased with the work performed. We could have gotten the job done for cheaper, but we knew in the end that Joe does a good job and follows up to make sure we are satisfied with the job. We were willing to pay a little more to make sure that we were satisfied with the job done as we have had painters in the past that were cheap, but we got what we paid for. We would recommend Joe Lisi for your painting and would have him back the next time we need some painting done.

He did a great job, we were very pleased with their attention to detail. He gave us 3 weeks to go over their work and look for anything that needed to be touched up, we couldn't find one thing. Joe is very personable and responsive. We found him on Angies List and called him based on the reviews and location to our home. We asked for proof of insurance and contractors license, all was current and in good order. 

As for their price, they were comparable. I have no complaints. I had a good interaction with them.

Joe Lisi Quality Painting was recommended to us by the store where we had ordered some new furniture.  We received estimates from several painters ranging from $700 (too cheap) to $2500 (Who are they trying to kid?).  Joe's quote was in the middle comfort range and felt correct.  Plus this price included the paint (Sherwin Williams Pro 200).  Contracted for two coats, two colors with the kitchen and laundry room in an eggshell finish along with a minor wall repair.
Joe and crew showed up on Day One precisely on schedule at 8:00 AM.  The very polite and personable crew worked non-stop through the day and got the vast majority of the work done that day.  This was a very impressive quantity of work in a day!  The crew did tell us that they though the laundry room would need a third coat and they would let Joe know to call or email us that evening.  By the look of the room, I could see that was true.  We were painting a dark color in eggshell finish and my own experience told me that multiple coats are often needed!
My partner and I did a walk through that evening and made notes (few) of areas that might need some extra attention on Day two and we discovered one significant problem.  The top perimeter of the family room (20 feet up) was either discolored or somehow not done properly (Uh Oh!).  In the interim, Joe Lisi had emailed us recapping the day and confirming the need for the extra coat in the laundry room.  The extra charge would be $75.00.  Very reasonable given that it is a good size space.  I emailed him back and approved the extra charge as well as noted the walk through items and particularly the family room issue.
Right on time again on Day 2.  In fact, one of the crew was 10 minutes early and stayed in his truck out front until 8:00.  In the morning light, it was harder to see the family room issue but there was no pushback or argument about getting it fixed.  We also found a little later that it was plainly visible from an upstairs hallway overlook.  At that point, they realized the problem was large and extended around the whole upper perimeter.  To make a long story short, they rerolled the whole upper perimeter from ladders and that resolved the issue.  All of our Day One punchlist items were taken care of along with a number we had not even seen.
I had wanted a "gentle" powerwash on the deck as we did not want to restain this year.  The job was done perfectly with better results than I had expected.
Cleanup was spotless.  They even scrubbed and brushed out some minor scuff marks on the laundry tile from moving the appliances away from the wall.  Joe Lisi came by to inspect the work and to ensure our satisfaction before the last of the crew could leave.  We settled up at the exact price agreed to.  
In summary, Joe Lisi's Quality Painting really hit the mark.  I was astounded that everything took just under 2 days.  Others had quoted 3 to 3 1/2 days.  This demonstrates the work ethic of the crew Joe brings in.  They worked virtually non-stop.  Yes, we had a problem along the way but it was taken care of perfectly and professionally.  The price felt like it was in the sweet spot of quality and reasonability.  We are very pleased with the results and equally pleased with giving Joe Lisi's Quality Painting our highest recommendation.

They were fine they did a very good job. The main guy that I dealt with showed up on a Sunday to check on the work and I thought that was very thoughtful, and they were very competitively priced.
