Set appointments then told me after that I had to wait my turn. Apparently when I set my appointment the day before and stated I needed a state inspection and oil change and what ever it needed to pass inspection. They set my time and when I showed I was told I would have to wait for first come first serve because of the state inspection. I ask why did they even set it in the first place? I got no apology and was told again I had a 2 to 3 hour wait now ruining my day. I could have just made arrangements to have dropped it off if they had just told me in the first place while making the appointment.

fixed the problem but it occurred again within 3 months on another section of the car. Could they have checked for that at the time?

They were honest, didn't try to sell me services which I didn't need. Other places have tried to tell me that according to the recommended maintenance schedule for my vehicle, this type of service should be done. I was prepared to do the "I will have to bring it back another time to have that done" battle but was pleasantly surprised that I didn't even have to go there. As a customer, I appreciate that and value their professionalism. I will use them again and again and my daughter is now using them as well!

I used to take my cars to this Firestone all the time until about a year ago when they hired a new employee to run the front. I always like to check tire quotes on their site first and was excited to see they offered $50 tires for a used car I had recently purchased. Their front desk agent is more like a pushy car salesman. When I told him I wanted two new tires put on he proceeded to ask me which car outside was mine. He then went out looked at the car and told me I needed 4 not two.... my thought was he's a little pushy and I can see I do not need to rush to get all 4 so I still stuck with getting two. Before letting me speak much he began to go into tire safety and started looking up quotes. I am lucky to have about ten different options on tires. He immediately offered me the two most expensive options as if that was all I had to settle on they were both at about $115-130. I mentioned the $50 tires and he said he hadn't noticed that option and apologized, I can understand that but why not offer me something in the middle?
Bottom line... I trust the mechanics and the work they perform but considering they are not the ones that initially give you a quote and discuss options I can no longer trust this place! It is very disappointing

I trust them to do that kind of thing and to give me a full appraisal. Their prices are fair and their service is on time. They are always friendly. I've been using them for more than 10 years and I've always been pleased with their service. They really stand by their work and it is fair priced. I will absolutely continue to use them.

It was fine. I've had previous issues with them, I had a radiator that had to be replaced on several occasions.

They were very pleasant and provided good service.

State inspection was not an issue. Here is my gripe: I have used this location many times with at least 7 vehicles, mostly for inspections and minor work. I have grown more disenchanted at what I feel are borderline deceptive "recommended services" during inspections. My most recent was receiving a call informing me that my 2006 civic was "greater than a quart and a half low on oil", and they recommended a change of oil and filter. This is a pretty high level of oil loss and had me very concerned that there was a damaged cylinder on my vehicle (which an oil change and filter will not solve). I declined the service and brought the vehicle home to check it to find it only slightly below full, roughly 1/4 quart at most. The written recommendation did not list this, however it listed it as a service recommended when the indicator light is lit (which it wasnt). I can only throw these things out for others consideration for what they are. I contacted them upon my return and got less than a straightforward response. Upon questioning how they could even come up with a number of greater than a quart and a half, I recieved what amounted to grumbling babble. Standard dipsticks usually give you full and a one quart range of usable play. Those that are less than fully familiar with the mechanical workings of their vehicle please beware and don't have work done without a second opinion. They recommended $134 dollars of unnecessary work. This is not necessarily different than any other garages ive used but I wouldnt consider it straightforward business practice.

They do what they say and don't charge me for anything unless they call me first. They provide a fair, very professional service as far as inspections and tires go. I asked them to check my a/c once and they didn't say, "No," but they didn't seem to want to do it. I also have asked them to check belts and noises, but they gave the car back w/ the same belts and noises. I don't believe they even checked. They didn't charge me for belts or noise checks, so I'm glad they didn't try to rip me off. I think they really prefer to stick to inspections and tires and nothing more complicated.

I think Firestone is great. I like them. They can not do huge transmission jobs or things like that, but they can do most maintenance jobs. I always get two estimates prior to using any car place and they are usually the lowest bid I get.

We are happy with the quality of the tires, and they put them on quickly. The price was the same all over town because we called around. Firestone was the most convenient. However, when we went to pay the bill, I saw a few ''extras''. They were about to charge us about $35 (or so) PER tire for tire insurance in case something happened to them after we drove off! I did not appreciate that they tried to ''sneak it in'' to the bill instead of asking us up front if we wanted it. Also, when we turned this insurance down, they were snippy and tried to intimidate us into buying it by saying that if we got a flat by rubbing the tire on the curb, or got a nail in it, there was nothing they could do about it and we'd have to buy a new tire. They did a good job, but if you go, check your bill, and don't be talked into the insurance if you don't want it.
