Dunn Rite Handyman

This is a husband-and-wife team with amazing skills in painting, flooring and general handyman work. They are true professionals, who did the work on time and for a reasonable price, which was quoted upfront. They have an eye for design, and came up with creative solutions to problems that were unique to our older condo. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

I sought to upgrade my thermostat from programmable to smart (ecobee). I also wanted an upgrade to have the thermostat control stage 2 of my gas furnace. In about an hour, Dunn Rite got it all done right! Well done.

Thaen did an excellent job for me staining/sealing my decks. As with any project that is dependent on the weather, we had to adjust our scheduling as necessary. He communicated well with me throughout the process. He pays attention to the small details and did a good job of cleaning up when the work was completed.

Good communication. Showed up and did what he said he would do when he said he would do it. Seems like a decent guy. What else can you ask for.

Thaen of DunnRite Handyman Services is truly a master at his craft. We contracted with him first to replace our upstairs tub/shower (plus some unrelated ceiling drywall work) and he did just an amazing job. He ran into some significant challenges - primarily because of working in such a tight space - but he worked thru them as if he could have done it in his sleep. Having done such a good job on the upstairs, we then also had him replace the shower downstairs. He ran into even more challenging issues and again proved to be unfazed thru it all. He even took on the task of repairing our roof after the big winds came recently and was not thrown off of his intended timeline on the shower. With Dunn Rite you are definitely paying for experience, but also for someone that will put in the extra effort to ensure the workmanship and the customer experience is top-notch. I'll be calling DunnRite for any future handyman work, for sure!

Friendly and prompt fence repair

I had a leak from my tub that caused some water stains on my ceiling and some drywall damage. I had 5 quotes scheduled and Thaen from Dunn Rite came as well as 1 other contractor. I chose Thaen because he seemed very knowledgeable of what was causing the problem and his prices were less than what I expected. Thaen and his wife came in and did an awesome job with the work that I had to get done. They kept me informed with every step. Him and his wife are so nice and very professional and they did a great job fixing my tub and preparing the damage from the leaks.

They did a great job repairing our porch then staining/sealing and painting it. I’d recommend them!

Thane repaired our weathered & worn wood fence & it looks like new. The gate was off its hinges & warped but Thane got it working without replacing it. Very professional & done when he said it would be. I couldn't be happier.
