I have dealt with them from time to time and they did an excellent job.  They were professional, efficient, and easy to deal with.  They did a great job.

I had a hall, bathroom and two bedrooms painted.  As Mr. Hisham himself noted, I am "meticulous," and yet I found only the smallest, tiny, spots to clean off tile (in the bathroom) or walls/floor in the other rooms.  He was attentive to my schedule and wishes. Salah Hisham did a good job; thoroughly pleasant and professional. Good value for the money, I thought.

We have used Commonwealth Painting and Decorating for the past 20 years.  Their price has always been competitive for the professional job that they perform.   All their workers are completely trustworthy which is very important to us when strangers have access to your home.  Mr. Gara has been a delight to work with.  His concern is not only to do the job right,  but to make sure the customer is completely satisfied with the results.  If you would like a painting contractor who will provide great workmanship, we would highly recommend Commonwealth Painting and Decorating.  It is one of the   best contractors we have ever used!  Kudos to Commonwealth Painting and Decorating.

Lou Gara came recommended to me by a builder who had known him and his business for a while. He was a little slow in getting back to me after my first call, and the crew didn't actually being painting until the 3rd day after his initial estimate of the "begin date." However, they matched the color perfectly with the color of the siding on our house, and the two painters did an excellent job of solid coverage and cutting in trim areas. The lead painter had been painting for over ten years, and had been with Mr. Gara for at least three, if I remember correctly. Mr. Gara's estimate came in well under the estimate of at least one other painter, and his final bill was for the exact amount of the estimate; no added charges. The painters gladly left me a little of each color to use as needed for touching up scuff marks, etc. They were very polite and did their job quickly. They began at 8am on a weekday morning, worked all day, and returned the next morning to finish up by 11am. I would highly recommend Mr. Gara's company for any exterior paint job.
