We Remodel

We can’t recommend WeRemodel highly enough. Wilł and his team did a phenomenal job for us. We had a major kitchen remodel done with two walls removed, new 12’ island, all new cabinets and appliances, new quartz countertops. It was a big project and we had 7 contractors in to provide an estimate. A couple of them didn’t even return bids, I guess because the wall removals scared them off. All of the bids leave a lot to work out, and there are a lot of details that have to be specified or trust that the contractor will do the right thing. We chose Will for the job because we trusted him from the start more than the others because he was straightforward and more responsive, and he earned it through great service. His bid was not the cheapest, but was competitive and based on the loose ends in the others and his commitment to take care of unexpected difficulties that popped up within the agreed upon price, I thought his would be the best value. He developed the design which met our vision perfectly despite lots of unusual additions and details, like the big island with seating, built in kegerator and wine/beverage cooler, custom bench to replace windowsill, custom cabinet for fridge etc. The team pulled it all together perfectly. We didn’t have one complaint about the quality, professionalism, or responsiveness. He made sure we liked every detail, and reworked a couple of things that we didn’t. They came back to fix small details after the last check was written. The same crew did all of the work, so no subs at all outside of gas work and quartz counter installation. Will was there every day, and the crew wasn’t doing any other jobs concurrently, so it went quickly. Very happy with the kitchen and everything about the job, and will hire him again!

Will and Katie were so attentive as we were planning our kitchen.  There were some things we knew we wanted and others that required a little guidance.  They listened and proposed several options.  We were thrilled with the level or work hat went into the planning. 

This remodel could not have gone better!  Will and his crew were always here on time, they treated us and our house with respect and the quality of their work was superb!

The demo was basically over the first 2-3 days.  The crew did a fantastic job of minimizing dust throughout the house and cleaning up after each day's work.

Once it was time to start putting the kitchen together, Will did a great job of ordering and getting supplies so that the work could continue uninterrupted and the house wasn't filled with material that wasn't ready for installation yet.

Throughout the job, they remained flexible to our desires and on the fly changed things to our liking.  They even did a few things that weren't really part of the kitchen (they installed a light and outlet on our deck immediately adjacent to the kitchen.  They really took the time to listen!

On the last day, the last thing that was installed was a pendant light over the counter.  The guys had installed a light we had ordered, but we really didn't like it, so they took it down and installed a second light which we love! 

The quality of the work was fantastic!  The demeanor and attitude of the guys was even better!  We would not hesitate to use We Remodel in the future and we would recommend them to anyone!

All I can say is wow! Katie, Will, and their team were amazing, talented, professional, and just super nice folks.  They worked with us every step of the way to remodel our kitchen. We just bought our first house and had them gut the kitchen and tear out all the old flooring for the entire floor. We had tons of questions and they were so patient with us and kept us informed about each step. They took a realistic and pragmatic approach to the project to help guide us where we could save and where we it might be worth it to splurge.  When we ordered the the wrong tile (our fault!), they worked with us to make it right and find the best solution. 
In the end, we got an amazing kitchen that we can still hardly believe is ours. Anyone who visits thinks our kitchen cost twice as much. The most common comment we get is, "It looks straight out of a magazine or HGTV!"
I can't say enough good things about We Remodel.  We have some bathrooms I'm sure we'll be having them remodel in the near future.

Will and Eric showed up on time every day. Very professional and  knowledgeable. Very fair in their pricing and worked with me and my  husband on every detail of the job . I really like the way the basement was left very clean every day after they finished working. I'm really enjoy my new beautiful basement. Thanks to Will and his crew. :)

They showed up on time, finished ahead and schedule and kept the place neat while they were working.  Will helped us a lot with the design and color selections.  We are very impressed and recommend them to everyone we know.  They take pride in their work and enjoy seeing a completed project.  To Will, it's not just another job, he wants to see a complete space that he can be proud they built.  Without prompting, they came back for touch ups shortly after completion and made sure we were satisfied.  Very professional, very responsive, and I'm very happy we chose them.

So far the experience with them is pretty good.  They were very professional.  They were honest and easy to work with.

It was a positive experience. The work was exceptional. It was neatly done. The workers were on time and very professional. I am 100% satisfied with the results of this project.

From start to finish the We Remodel team was very professional and listened carefully to what my wife and I wanted to do. Will provided some additional suggestions that were right on the mark in terms of the finished result we were looking to achieve. From color and tile selection to borders and finish details, the planning phase was a positive experience. Then, at the star of the project, Eric and his team were there on Day 1 to expertly reform the bathroom to exactly what we had in mind.
One of the primary reasons for the comfort level we developed with the We Remodel team is that they treat your house as if they lived there by taking care to control the chaos that comes with a project of this type. The measures taken to control the dust and clean up after each day were much appreciated by us.
A noteworthy comment among many positive things is that during any project, large or small, there are challenges and changes that are encountered that must be discussed for a solution to be agreed on and applied. Will and Eric are extremely good at communicating during this time, and are a true pleasure to work with. We have other things we need done in the house over time, and we are thrilled to have found We Remodel, as they will always be our "go to" company when we are ready to undertake the next project.

(1) Finished Basement
Will came over early May 2012 and we discussed our basement requirements. Our main basement requirements were a bedroom / full bath / wet bar with tile flooring / media center & rec room / carpeting. Will gave us ideas and listened to us patiently and took in all the details. Will then came up with superb CAD designs with 3D visualizations which could be updated on the fly and made things so much easier.
Nothing like an articulate & intelligent contractor who knows what he is doing and also is tech savvy. Will can take the customer's input and visualize it for them and customize it further with them the way a customer wants. If there are better ways Will does not hesitate to make suggestions and recommendations. The result is a quality product.
Decisions were made and the basement designs were firmed up.
Will and his team finished about 1200 sqft in the basement. They created a bedroom / full bath and a storage area. The Wet bar area / Media Center & Rec room and lighting was excellent. The painting / electrical / plumbing work were all very good. Even the building inspectors commented on the quality work of the finished basement.
As for us we are EXTREMELY HAPPY with our finished basement. We have received compliments from neighbors, family and friends.
The finished basement cost was approx $40000.
 
(2) Hardwood Flooring - 1st Floor / Steps to basement and flooring for landing areas
We also asked Will to all take on our hardwood flooring requirement for the 1st floor and steps to the basement.
We had unique requirements:
- The hardwood flooring had to match the builder installed hardwood in the entry foyer.
- And since the hardwood flooring on the 1st floor would impact the family movements in the house, we asked Will if all this could be scheduled and completed during the week of the Memorial Day long weekend while we were way.
- Also requested the wires be run for the surround sound speakers in the 1st floor
Will pulled all this off when we were out of town. Will advised us that hardwood flooring for the steps to the basement should be done when the basement was near complete so that there was no impact to the flooring. The hardwood flooring material was bought and placed in the house to acclimatize. The existing hardwood floor in the entry foyer was covered so that there was no impact to it. The crew worked on the flooring when we were away.
- When we returned from our trip the 1st floor was just amazing.
- Will also got in a cleaning crew to clean the 1st floor after the installation.
As the basement work was winding down the hardwood steps to the basement and flooring for basement landing areas was completed.
Overall we are very happy with the hardwood flooring. Its has totally changed the look and feel of the house.
The overall hardwood flooring cost was approx $10000.
 
(3) We Remodel Staff
Will's staff is absolutely excellent and a professional group. Each one of his team members are polite and dedicated. His project manager Eric is superb. Will himself is very knowledgeable, an excellent manager and coordinates his teams brilliantly. This is the team that you want working for you.
With "We Remodel" and Will's leadership "WE" are all in good hands!!

It went well and I had a good experience with them.  Everything they did was good in terms of the quality of work.  They came in under the budget, it was somewhere between $20000 and $25000 and I had worked with them on and off over the year.  Anytime, there was any mistake, they came back and fixed it and they just did a good job and my house sold in a day.

As a first-time homebuyer, I was worried about finding a good contractor. I've heard horror stories about unlicensed contractors and didn't know where to start. We were referred to "We Remodel" by a friend. When they came to give us an estimate, my husband tested their knowledge on electrical, structure and plumbing. My husband was impressed by how thorough they were in their explanations. After talking to a few other contractors, none showed as much promise as "We Remodel". They listened to everything we wanted and needed and gave us many suggestions that we would have not otherwise thought about. 
Eric was the contractor who worked on our house. He went above and beyond what I thought a contractor would do.  For example, he took out trash bins and brought them back into the garage when empty, fixed a broken sink, replaced trim and carried in the deliveries to the house. 
In the end, what we envisioned, they made it better.  Their recommendations in design and products really makes our home look one of a kind.  This was money well spent!  I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again for any future upgrades.

The process started with lots of discussion on what we needed, what we liked, and because we had already decided on our appliances, we were able to give Will the specs so he could pull together a design that totally fit our needs.  He turned out a fantastic thoughtful design in under a week.  We had hoped to have a new kitchen before Thanksgiving, and he and his crew worked tirelessly to make sure that happened - even with a few hiccups with our ceiling (which was quite uneven to begin with) they worked incredibly hard to make it right. (And it looks fantastic now!)
Once the process began, demolition and removal of all debris went quickly and smoothly, and the team did a nice job keeping the area relatively clean throughout the process by sweeping and vacuuming each evening.  Will recommended the semi-custom cabinets that worked perfectly with not only the large fridge, but also a large double oven, and a microwave drawer.  He was very helpful in making sure we had enough information when it came time to make the big decisions, like cabinets, counter tops, and tile.  Before the project started we bombarded this him with questions to make sure that once things were underway we would be on the same page - Will's responses were always very prompt and helpful, which is always reassuring when you're about to rip out a kitchen!  
During the renovation, Eric - our project manager - assisted us with our follow-up questions.  He was great to work with and even took the time to explain how he was going to go about doing things or what the next steps would be.  When I would get home from work at the end of the day he would sometimes give a wrap-up of what they'd been up to, and what they planned to do the next day so we would know what to expect.  
Being new to having a major renovation done inside of our house, we could not have asked for a better team.  We can't wait to hire them again for our next project!

This company was excellent! We Remodel was very professional, punctual, and gave me a great price on my kitchen remodel. Even the sales guy kept in contact with me throughout the whole process, and would even show up during the construction phase and help out where ever needed! All of the workers were very friendly and did a great job cleaning up after themselves every day. I will definitely use this company again on my next remodel!
