This Big Deal isn't working out for me. The description of what his services include was incorrect. He does not do minor carpentry unlike the description said. He needs to be more specific in the future. He was very prompt in calling me back.

Purchased the handyman-for-the-day Big Deal for $299, and decided to hire to regrout our upstairs shower. This is a tough, hot, cramped job and I was thankful the handyman agreed to the job. The job quality overall was good. The handyman did note some tiles were falling off the wall, and agreed to reinstall them to avoid future problems. Great initiative. The quality of the regrouting was average. The handyman recommended pre-mixed grout for the shower, which is not to be used in shower environments. He completed the job with my original materials instead, and did a decent job. There were several spots, particularly along the shower seams, that were overlooked. Overall, however, it was decent and likely bought us several more years of use before deciding to re-tile or remodel the shower.

Good work overall. He uses good materials for patching up walls (recommended against using the products I bought from home depot) but if you have young kids (as I do), he'll recommend against sanding the walls because of the dust and his handyman deal doesn't include painting - so that's good to know ahead of time.

Florencio was great to work with. I walked him through everything I need to have done around the house in anticipation of our baby's arrival this summer. He was courteous and professional and completed all of the work in a reasonable amount of time. He put up with my mind-changing a few different times and worked with me to make sure I was happy. He didn't seem rushed or annoyed when I would change my mind or think of a new thing to be done. I will certainly use him in the future for more work around my house. His painting job was impeccable as well.

After I described the work needed and set up an appointment, Florencio explained that the drywall work was more time consuming than one day and more complicated than handyman work, which I completely understand.
He arrived on time and was very professional and meticulous/detail-oriented from start to finish. He communicated every major aspect of the work throughout the day and the process very well. His works shows that he pays attention to every deal. Also, he went above and beyond what I asked him to do by sanding areas of drywall and paint from a prior job that was done very poorly.
He has not finished the job yet because I only hired his services for a day, but he will be back next week and I'm sure he will complete the job in an excellent and timely fashion.
I am a very satisfied customer so far and highly recommend Professional Touch.

Florencio was a. Very professional individual to work with. Prior to the appointment he was in contact with me to inquire about details of the job I had to ensure he brought the appropriate hardware. He arrived on time and was very detail oriented in his work. Hanging frames is not difficult work but time consuming and requires someone with the patience to measure thoroughly and Florencio was the man for the job. I would hire him again!

We were looking for someone to come in quickly to complete the three bedrooms and kitchen so I called Florencio Patino. He was very quick to respond and was able to schedule the painting quickly. He arrived on time with one other person and measured the space and gave us an estimate of work that needed to be done.
There was some patching and repair in the walls as well so they took care of all that. These guys were punctual, and worked through the day quietly getting everything done. They moved efficiently and finished in two days. They did not rush after finishing the work but instead cleaned the floors in the rooms to make sure there was no dust or residue left over from the painting.
I am very happy with the service.

Professional Touch personnel arrived on time. Assessed the problem with the vents. Offered a couple of solutions with pros and cons for each. They performed the job in a professional manner. When finished they cleaned the area. Excellent service. I would definitely use this company again.

Arrived on time. Orginal work was average not great. Patch work was average.
2 men worked but took many phone calls.
We took off the all the plates and outlet covers.
Any covers we did not take off were painted over.
When they left the house was very messy with dry wall dust and there is still some paint on my floors and kitchen cabinents.
I do not own a dry vac. He used my vaccum to clean up. They did not bring their own. I spent hours cleaning after they left. At the end of the 8 hours, he suggested he could come back (I thought with two men.). Mr. Patino said he would do the hall and stairs outside the contract. He came back alone and did not do the trim or doors, he did do hallway walls and ceiling.
The last painters I hired off Angie's List were more professional and their work was a much higher quality.
We would not hire Mr. Patino again. We felt he took advantage of us. He clearly did not think the price he gave Angie's list was fair. He even thought the price he gave me for the stairs was too low and that he had done me a favor.
When I confronted him, he said the work the second day was not part of Angie's List and anything written on the deal had nothing to do with his work in the hallway. Mr Pationo is very friendly and nice, but he was not honest with me. He told me he would "paint" the hallway and stairs. He did not say he was only painting the walls and celing. The price I gave you was always intended as a price for the entire job and not by the day or by the hour - it was simply a quote for what it would cost to complete the job I offered you to paint the stairway and the hallway including everything for the modest price of $350 but you said that you didn’t want to spend that much money, so we renegotiated the price and I said $300 to paint the stairway and hallway walls only and you and the customer agreed on this price prior to the job being completed however I can see where your concerns lay and why it can be confusing. I also apologize for using your vaccum but mine wasn’t working that day, about the clean up you start cleaning up before we did complete the job wich is what we normally do when the job is completed and about the plates and outlet covers you took them all before we did, the ones that we painted over are the ones that where painted with the old color. Kitchen cabinet where painted with old paint perhaps by some other contractor prior to us in the past, We did all the drywall repairs that where necessary to paint the walls and ceiling and they where mayor repair wich we did not charge you extra for that, in the Big deal I offer small drywall patches not drywall repair for the same price. You paid $449 for 8 hours of painting for two painters and we cover all that time by painting and repairing the kitchen ceiling and walls, dinning room, foyer, bathroom, trims doors and baseboards, I did not ask you for a penny more or a penny less, but you also wanted us to paint the stairway hallway doors trims and baseboard for the same deal and I told at front that it was not possible and you said to start painting from the back and see how much we were able to do within this hours. When we completed the job that day you where very satisfied and I remember you saying that it looks great so that’s why you have me coming back to paint the rest. Again I apologize that this experience was not ideal for you. If there is anything I can do for you please let me know. Thank you."

I originally purchased a $59 ticket through Angie's List for Professional Touch LLC for two hours of service to replace a closet shelf in late November of 2012. At the time, I asked Mr. Patino about re-screening. He stated that he could do the work and that I could purchase a one day ticket directly from him for $350. On December 17, 3012, Mr Patino arrived almost two hours late and completed the work in just over four hours. His charge for the work was $350. I asked how he was charging and he started that he was charging by the job. I told him that my understanding was that he was charging by the day. My typical work day is a minimum of eight hours. My bad for assuming that the typical work day for Mr. Patino would be seven to eight hours.
The re-screening was recently done so Mr. Patino's work appears to be quite acceptable. If you decide to contract with Mr. Patino, do get your agreement including estimated charges and estimated time to do the work up front and in writing. I requested a written receipt from Mr. Patino and he responded that he would send it in email. I have not received the email yet.

We had a leak coming from our shower down into ceiling below, and we could not figure out the source of the leak. Florencio graciously offered to come take a look at the leak before giving us a quote and agreeing to do the work. He spent an hour trying to understand the leak before giving us an honest assessment with price quote and (with our approval) proceeding with the necessary repairs. The repairs involved removing old grout from wall shower tiles and re-grouting (the water appeared to be traveling through the wall).
In addition, Florencio did a number of smaller projects throughout our house. In particular, he painted a bedroom ceiling for us, repaired a running toilet, replaced a faulty light switch, and fixed+repainted 2 holes in our drywall which were cut open during the leak search.
We were extremely pleased with Florencio's professionalism and dedication to completing the tasks at hand. He is respectful of his clients' time and budget, and was always punctual. In all, we were very happy with his work and will definitely call him if the need arises in the future.
