"Hello [member name removed], Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with others. We truly appreciate your feed back. I will always remember this project it's not every day you are called upon to remove a week old roof. Happy we could help."
The rating was lowered, partly because I had to do more cleanup after the crew left for the day and I had to engage in lots of back and forth about several issues. I felt it was fair to knock them on this as it gave me the perception that everything changed once the last nail was driven in and they drove off.
There were some other issues which probably never satisfied the owner or myself. I won't talk about his part in this. I will only say to read your contracts carefully and confirm colors, quality, whether there will be an english speaker on the premises, timelines for completion, payment..all of it!,..or you will learn the lesson I did. And it will be YOUR problem.
Overall it worked out in the end, I wasn't completely satisfied (for good reason in my opinion) but we got off with only some inconvenience and annoyance and we learned a valuable lesson.
We got the quick, cheap roof were looking for.
