Had a pipe burst in my basement ceiling just before going out of town. I contacted F.H. Furr and Cropp-Metcalfe but neither returned my call. I called Gainesville Plumbing and they came to my house the same day to fix the burst pipe. This was much appreciated since I had to cut off all the water in my house until it was repaired. Service tech was right on time and finished quickly. The price was extremely fair and I wasn't charged any extra for the same-day repair.

Just one worker was sent to complete job. They have a reasonable price compared to other plumbers and we have been satisfied with their work. They left the area clean after job was finished.

Woke up to a leaking pipe. Called and they arrived in less than 45 minutes, diagnosed and repaired the problem. Given the speed and great service, a very reasonable price.

Didn't charge for the extra work, Actually came for two jobs and was on time, professional and did quality worboth times. The cost was very competitive especially considering the quality. I would definitely use Gainesville Plumbing again.

Gainesville plumbing promptly returned my call and scheduled the work in a few days. Plumber arrived as scheduled and did an excellent job removing and replacing the toilet.

I selected this contractor because of reviews on Angie's List and I couldn't be happier that I did. I can't remember how many days it was from the time I called them until the time they came out, but I do remember that they came first thing in the morning on the first day that was convenient for me. Kenny showed up a little early and was ready to get started right away. He wore little booties and put down plastic everywhere to make sure he kept my house clean. He opened up a section of my ceiling to figure out where the leak was coming from. He cut a very small hole in the ceiling to accomplish this (about 1' x 1'). Once he had the ceiling open he was quickly able to find the source of the leak. The leak was a result of a bad wax ring on the bottom of my toilet. Also turned out that the flapper in my toilet needed replaced because it was letting water constantly drain out of the tank. Kenny fixed everything in about an hour and did a great job. He kept my house clean and, with the exception of the hole in the ceiling, left everything the way he found it.
I can't stress enough how professional Kenny was. I'm a little more comfortable when things are less formal, but I can't fault him for his professionalism. I've never worked with a contractor as professional as Kenny.
The best thing about my experience is that the bill ended up being a decent amount less than I expected. I should add that I didn't ask for a quote before having him do the work. I needed it done quickly and, as I have been advised, I selected the company that had the best reviews and was able to get out the quickest. So I didn't know what it would cost before the work began, but I was expecting it to be higher. I feel they were very honest about the price they charged me. I would use them again in a heartbeat and I strongly recommend that you do as well.

Called five plumbers, Gainesville couldn't guarantee same day service but promised to call me if they would be unable to show.
Kenny found the leak, fixed and repaired, gave great advice to prevent future and was friendly and very professional.  Helped moved junk out the way as well!
Was actually surprised about the fee as with the high demand expected it to be much higher - same day service especially - very pleased and would definitely consider using this service for any future plumbing needs.

I was very pleased with my experience with Gainesville Plumbing.  Ken arrived within the window that was provided. My outside faucet would not turn off so I was having to use the main.  He assessed the issue and determined a plan.  He was knowledgeable and proactive. He was able to cut out the old faucet and install a new faucet within a short period of time.  The job was not easy but Ken was able to complete it efficiently.  The price was very fair.  I had the exact same work done by another company on my backyard faucet and it was much more expensive and I wasn't happy with the work.  I will definitely use Gainesville Plumbing in the future and will recommend to my friends.

He replaced the sump pump and found the probable cause that shortened the life of my sump pump. The drain out pipe was blocked on the outside. I greatly appreciated the extra effort he did in finding the source of the problem.
