Dr. Foster was a great find and determined my cat's kidney disease, we have had treatment for our cats regularly. She drops off fluid quickly. I can not say enough great things. She is excellent, great treatment and bedside, on time and having a home vet makes getting care for three cats so mush easier.

Back then they did everything. They used to do surgery. Now they downsized their vehicle and now refer you to have surgery.

They are great. They are very knowledgeable. Very responsive. Conservative on the treatments and is very convenient for them coming here.

I am thrilled to have found Companion Paws! I have two 14 year old cats and had been taking them to Pender since I moved up to Northern VA. After moving out to South Riding, that was just too far to go. My poor cats HATE riding in the car and both sing (make that howl) through the entire trip making it a nerve wracking ride for me and them.
So my husband and I were driving around in the country one day and saw a mobile vet service van. Who knew vets made house calls? I decided to look for a service in Chantilly and found Companion Paws and decided to give them a try. I am the crazy cat lady, or so my husband tells me, so their welfare and care is a highest priority. Don't tell anyone, but a vet was able to convince me it was necessary for my cat's blood pressure to be checked at $80 a pop much to my husband's chagrin!
I made the appointment and was told they couldn't give an exact time, but they would arrive within a time range of one hour - totally understandable since they are making house calls. Dr. Foster and David showed up on time and I immediately felt at ease with them as did my cats judging how they were sniffing around. Both Dr. Foster and David were very good with my cats and made the typical stressful annual exam a non-event. I feel very confident they received a thorough exam. Dr. Foster had no problem taking the time to answer some questions and give recommendations about one of my cats less than desirable behaviors either. No stress, knowledgeable, caring service!
Here is where I was surprised. I was expecting this service to be expensive. After all Companion Paws is coming to my home, using their gas and all at my convenience. No sticker shock at all when I was given the price for this service. The price was extremely reasonable and the cats even got a free pedicure. I will be using Companion Paws going forward - they have my highest recommendations!

I have a cat recently diagnosed with diabetes. Dr. Foster has been wonderful responding to my concerns.

The vet arrived within the time frame she said she would and brought all her gear inside. She was able to weigh and give vaccinations to both my cats within 1/2 to 45 minutes. I had one panicky cat that we had to chase down a second time (he doesn't do well with strangers nevermind ones with needles), but they were actually quite unworried by his initial reaction and they got him into a bathroom where he calmed down and it took them maybe 5 minutes to check him over and give him the shot. She provided tags and their certificates as well as a copy of the full evaluation and recommendations for questions I had had. Overall, very professional and quick. I loved it and will definitely use Companion Paws going forward. It is so much faster and efficient that going to a vet and I don't have to stick my cats in carriers that they absolutely hate!

She is very efficient and very approachable. The care for the animals is of very high quality. It is a niche type service so they come to your house which makes it a little more pricey. However, the amount of time they take and the care they give my animals makes it worth it.

They are very friendly and convenient. They are easy to get a hold of and have been available when I needed to see them. They have standards and processes in place for emergencies. Having a mobile vet really helped us because my daughter was allergic to dogs and we did not have to put our dog in the car. They are more interested in taking care of the pet as needed and not all about creating an extra bill.
